Legacy Award: $2,000 - Direct descendants of Centenary alumni (grandparent, parent, or sibling) qualify for this $2,000/year award. If an older sibling still attends Centenary, both students will receive the award!

Artistic Merit Award - Artistic merit awards are selected through audition or portfolio review by art, music, and theatre faculty. Students selected for these awards are eligible to renew them if they continue to participate in the artistic program.

Centenary Methodist Grant - Awarded annually to new full-time students. Based on need; requires membership in the United Methodist Church and completion of the FAFSA.

Centenary Out-of-State Grant - Awarded annually to new full-time students. Based on need; requires U.S. residence outside of Louisiana and completion of the FAFSA.

Room Discount: $6,000 - Automatically available to students residing (permanent home address) in the 710-711 zip code range in northwest Louisiana at the time of their application.

Artistic Merit Awards require separate auditions or applications, and many institutional scholarships and grants require the FAFSA. Visit centenary.edu/fa for more information on how to be considered for these awards. Our Registrar’s Office will need to assess college transcripts for transferable hours to discern for how many years these awards are renewable.

A completed application consists of the following:

• Final, official high school transcript

• Official college transcript from each college attended

• Statement of reason for transfer: 250+ words explaining reasons for transfer, future academic goals, and how you feel Centenary can further those goals

• Resume and letter(s) of recommendation are not required but strongly preferred
