PLUMBING FIXTURE SCHEDULE

All plumbing and gas piping work shall be installed in strict accordance with the requirements of Article 16 and Reference Standard RS 16 of the 2014 NYC Building Code.

1.

Plumbing fixtures shall be of type and manufacture approved for use in New York City, and shall bear BSA approval.

2.

All gas-fired equipment to be A.G.A. or M.E.A. approved. Plumbing Contractor to examine proposed layout with regard to existing field conditions, and shall notify Architect of any discrepancies between assumed field conditions and those encountered during construction. Plumbing contractor shall inform Architect of any revisions to plan which shall be necessary, based on conditions uncovered in the field, in order to install all fixtures, equipment and piping in strict accordance with the requirements of the NYC Building and Plumbing codes.

5.

Plumbing Contractor shall arrange and obtain inspections and required sign-offs.

6.

Remove or relocate all plumbing as required. Removed pipes shall be cut to a point of concealment behind or below finish surfaces, and shall be properly capped or plugged.

7.

All soil & vent piping shall be "no hub" cast iron.

8.

All branch piping of 4" Ø or greater shall be pitched 1/8" per foot or less than 1/4" per foot. All vent piping shall be pitched to drain.

9.

All hot and cold water piping shall be copper tubing type "L" with 95-5 soldered joints.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY DIAGRAMS AND NOTES - BATHROOMS

All work shall conform with the Contract and with the Project Manual included as part of these Construction Documents. Before commencing work, the Contractor shall file all required Certificates of Insurance with the Department of Buildings, obtain all required permits, and pay all fees required by governing New York City agencies. No work is to begin without proper permits. Examination of the site and portions thereof which will affect this work shall be made immediately by the Contractor, who shall compare existing conditions with the Drawings and satisfy him/herself as to the conditions under which work is to be performed. Contractor shall notify the Designer of any conditions requiring modification before proceeding with the work. Contractor shall at such time ascertain and check locations of existing structure. Contractor's bid shall be based upon this examination.
