NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK: April 21-27

National Volunteer Week was established by Presidential proclamation in 1974, in order to inspire, recognize, and encourage people to engage and serve in the their communities. The City of Celina provides diverse volunteer opportunities for residents to make a valuable contribution to our community, while encouraging involvement in local government.

Residents have contributed their time and service to City departments, events, and committees, through various volunteer opportunities to enhance services provided to the City of Celina residents and extend capacity of city departments. Volunteers are a vital part of the City of Celina. The contributions of volunteers are not exclusively measured by time and dollars, but also by the commitment each volunteer has to working together to build a strong community.
