CELINA POLICE DEPARTMENT: 2024 RACIAL PROFILING REPORT NOW AVAILABLE
The Celina Police Department has recently received its 2024 Racial Profiling Report, conducted by Del Carmen Consulting, LLC - Law Enforcement Experts. This report is in compliance with the Texas Racial Profiling Law, enacted by the Texas Legislature in 2001, aimed at addressing concerns regarding racial profiling in policing.
Throughout the calendar year, our Police Department has diligently collected and reported data on traffic and motor vehicle-related contacts to identify and, if necessary, address any areas of concern regarding racial profiling practices. The linked report confirms that the Celina Police Department has met all legal requirements outlined by the Texas Racial Profiling Law and provides a comprehensive analysis of all traffic and motor vehicle-related stops made during the past year.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT PRESTON RD & E. G.A. MOORE PKWY
TxDOT has recently installed a new traffic signal at the intersection of Preston Rd and E. G.A. Moore Pkwy. This update is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance safety in the area. Residents and motorists are advised to exercise caution as they navigate the intersection and remain attentive to the revised traffic patterns.
SWINERTON TO HOST COFFEE WITH THE CONTRACTORS ON JANUARY 29
Swinerton will be holding its next Coffee with the Contractors on Wednesday, January 29, at 9:00 AM at their field office, located at 112 N. Arizona Dr. As work progresses on the Downtown Center and Parking Garage, this event provides an opportunity to meet with the project managers and team members involved to receive updates on the construction.

REMINDER: TOWER CRANE INSTALLATION FOR PARKING GARAGE CONSTRUCTION
Swinerton will begin erecting the tower crane for the Parking Garage project on Thursday, January 23. This marks an important step in the progress of the project. Ahead of the crane installation, there will be increased traffic activity around the job site starting Wednesday, January 22, as equipment and materials are delivered. The City is working closely with Swinerton to ensure safety and manage traffic flow during this time.
DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY PHASE 4A PROJECT: LANE CLOSURE NOTIFICATION
As part of the ongoing work on the DNT Phase 4A project, please be advised that crews will be implementing the upcoming lane closures. These closures are necessary for transporting topsoil, performing a mass haul of materials, and completing clean-up work in the affected areas. Please note that the entire left lanes will not be closed, and we will ensure there are no conflicts between lane closures within the same areas. Additional closures will occur at construction exits as needed to maintain safety and efficient traffic flow.

County Road 58 west of Louisiana, at the Intersection of Winecup Road, will be closed to facilitate a water line tiein on January 28th. The closure will be for a duration of two (2) days, pending weather conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
