AQUA NOR WILL BE HELD AUGUST 24TH – 27TH 2021 Aqua Nor has been an important international meeting place for the aquaculture industry since 1979 and is today the world’s largest trade exhibition for aquaculture technology. In recent years, the event has brought together around 28,000 visitors from up to 76 nations. All innovations and new technology of importance to the industry is presented here.
T
he aquaculture industry has experienced tremendous growth during these years, and technology, processes and services related to salmon farming, marine species, mussels, etc. is represented at Aqua Nor. All the most important aquaculture nations are present either as exhibitors, visitors or with official delegations. Aqua Nor is concerned with developing meeting places that strengthen the industry. Over the past year, we have had to use new communication tools, and this has given us the opportunity to participate in various digital meeting places. In 2020, we had to switch from a planned physical exhibition to organizing Nor-Fishing 2020 Digital, which so far is Norway’s largest fully digital trade fair. Nor-Fishing had over 15,000 visitors and 222 exhibitors from 46 different countries. In 2021, Aqua Nor will be a hybrid event, and we have entered partnership with the Norwegian company Netfair AS, which can offer a digital trade fair platform as a supplement to the physical Aqua Nor 2021 exhibition. With this platform we can offer physical and digital participation to both exhibitors
and visitors. This means that you as an exhibitor can reach a larger audience than those present during the 4 days of the physical exhibition. Now you can digitally meet visitors, who for various reasons do not have the opportunity to be physically present in Trondheim during the exhibition. Your company thus reaches a much larger audience than previously. Visitors can participate from anywhere in the world and at a time that suits them best (different time zones). The digital trade fair platform will be open for searches and inquiries from 1 August 2021 through 31 July 2022. This means that your company is available and can be contacted for a full 12 months; a much longer market presence than the physical part of the exhibition can offer. The digital part of Aqua Nor 2021 consists of two main elements: Livestream and the digital fair. We will ensure that the academic programme and the exhibition are of the very best quality, both technically and in terms of content.
