EARLY RISER ACTIVITES
7am. Singing (Shortly After) Sunrise - Jen Fiddaman (Oxfordshire TSH)

Come along to enjoy 30 minutes of gentle vocal exercises and soulsoothing harmonies to warm up your voice and clear your mind before the day begins.
We’ll aim to get you buzzing with resonance that will carry you through the day, and onwards! You don’t need any previous singing experience or musical expertise: the session won’t involve reading sheet music or any sudden solo singing spots. Instead, we’ll be focusing on close listening both inwards and outwards to attune ourselves within the group and collectively create some uplifting sounds (and a well-known tune or two!).
I’ve led vocal ensembles and been a choral director for all ages and experiences - from the under 8s to the over 80sin a range of musical genres and settings. I’ve always been inspired by what can be achieved when voices combine and wholeheartedly agree with Plato that rhythm and harmony find their way into the secret places of the soul: I’d love to have you with me on the journey.
The session will take place in West Bay reception area.
