lmost 30 years after launching its first SUV, the LM002, Automobili Lamborghini introduced the Urus concept in 2012. This month we take a glimpse at what might be the next creation from Automobili Lamborghini: a performance oriented SUV. Spring is always a busy season for car enthusiasts looking forward to get back in the driver seat of their Lamborghini. From our monthly Supercar Show to the Easter Drive and Lamborghini Esperienza at the AutoClub Speedway, our event calendar is filled with various experiences for you to enjoy. And to top this, Automobili Lamborghini just announced new dates for the Accademia at Laguna Seca in September featuring for the first time the brand new Lamborghini Huracån LP 610-4. We have a feeling this very exclusive event will fill up quick. Mother’s Day is coming soon! To celebrate it we are offering significant discounts on a selection of Ladies Wear from the Collezione Automobili Lamborghini. Grazie Mille! LAMBORGHINI

URUS

LAMBORGHINI PRESENTS SUV CONCEPT VEHICLE WITH EXTREME PERFORMANCE • Unique, powerfully dynamic design, interior with carbon fiber innovations such as Forged Composite®. • Breathtaking dynamics thanks to 440 kW / 600 hp and lightweight design technology; best in class CO2 figure among the competition. At the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, Automobili Lamborghini presented the ultimate super athlete in the SUV segment. With the Urus concept car, Lamborghini is completely redefining dynamics and design in this category. The Urus combines unique design, a fascinating interior and outstanding performance with versatility and everyday usability.

HERITAGE AND NAME As has long been the tradition at Lamborghini, its name is derived once more from the world of bulls – the Urus, also known as Aurochs, is one of the large, wild ancestors of domestic cattle.

CONCEPT AND TECHNOLOGY The Urus is the Lamborghini among SUVs. Yet it offers plenty of space for four people and a generous amount of luggage or shopping. The Urus is the Lamborghini for everyday use, for the family, for leisure pursuits with

DESIGN Substantial wheels are part of any Lamborghini, especially if it redefines dynamics in the SUV segment – the all-new 24-inch wheels sport a double-spoke design and are forged from matte-finish aluminum. Five carbon fiber winglets optimize ventilation. The Urus is painted in a rich, lightly shimmering red that offers the ideal contrast for the many bodyshell parts made from

friends. The Urus has a unique, utterly unmistakable appearance. It looks powerful, but not bulky. It is muscular and highly athletic, but also elegant. The key to its performance is primarily the drive – the heart of every Lamborghini. The target has been set – expect around 440 kW / 600 hp. Permanent all-wheel drive with traction control is, of course, a given. The Lamborghini Urus will beat all comparable competitors when it comes to CO2 emissions. The Urus will be considerably lighter than its competitors, sticking firmly to the Lamborghini lightweight design philosophy.

carbon fiber reinforced polymer. A large proportion of the front spoiler, the complete side sills and the mighty rear diffuser all clearly display their carbon fiber origins. There are no conventional exterior mirrors, instead small and aerodynamically optimized cameras monitor traffic conditions behind the vehicle. These images are displayed via two TFT screens placed in ergonomically perfect positions on the left and right of the cockpit.

L A M BORGH I N I U RUS • MODE L R A N GE

INTERIOR The Lamborghini Urus completely redefines the term sporty within the SUV segment, yet without restricting its everyday usability. This is particularly evident in its interior – the driver and up to three passengers feel like they are wearing a perfectly made-to-measure suit – carefully fitted, but comfortable. Yet there can be no doubt that what we are dealing with here is the ultimate sports car among SUVs. The center tunnel is particularly notable – an open, skeletal carbon fiber structure made from Forged Composite®. It carries through the entire interior and is only partially clad in leather-upholstered cushioning. Single

cushions also clad the four bucket seats. Also all four bucket seats are made from Forged Composite®. The Lamborghini Urus concept car also features an extremely minimized operating philosophy. Behind the steering wheel are only the shift paddles for the dualclutch transmission. All other functions such as indicators, lights and windshield wipers are incorporated into either the multifunction steering wheel or the center console. The driver is delivered information via a freely programmable TFT screen behind the steering wheel. Secondary functions like navigation, entertainment and climate control are operated via a touchscreen on the center tunnel. A further touchscreen is available for rear seat passengers.

LEASE/FINANCE SPECIALS

LAMBORGHINI FINANCIAL SERVICES THE ADVANTAGES OF LEASING Did you know that you can lease your new or pre-owned Lamborghini? YES! A lot of people don’t realize there is an alternative to paying cash or financing the purchase of a Lamborghini. Leasing may provide a lower monthly payment than a traditional finance contract, as well as other significant advantages which should be considered by the sophisticated buyer. Advantages include: • More vehicle for your money – A monthly lease payment is typically lower than a monthly finance payment for the same vehicle when compared over a similar term. Leasing makes it possible for you to take advantage of a lower monthly payment on a Lamborghini with potentially greater option content compared to financing. • Better Money Management / Cash Flow – Why be concerned with the long-term depreciation or repair risks of owning a new car? With leasing, you wisely leave Lamborghini Financial Services (LFS) to manage the depreciation at lease end. The money saved with lower monthly payments and limited up-front cash contribution leaves more room for other investments or personal enjoyment. • Warranty protection – You will typically be able to drive your leased Lamborghini while it is under constant factory warranty protection, providing you added peace of mind throughout the life of your lease. • GAP insurance – LFS provides Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) with all leases at no extra cost. In the event of a theft or loss, GAP will help limit your potential exposure from any shortfall between the vehicle value and the remainder due on your contract. See LFS Lease Agreement for full details. • Closed-end Leases – LFS leases are closed end leases, which means you are not locked into buying the car at the end of the term. Once your term ends and your lease contract obligations are satisfied, your options are open so you can easily decide on your next vehicle. • Depreciation risk avoidance – With the Lamborghini Lease you don’t have to be concerned about trade in or resale value. LFS bears the responsibility of any shortfall (except at early termination). If the vehicle is worth more than the residual, you may purchase the vehicle at the residual amount and take advantage of its higher market value by selling it at the market price. • Potential Tax Benefits – Often the amount paid in taxes as part of a monthly lease payment is less than the taxes associated with a cash purchase or traditional retail financing. Although vehicle taxes vary by state, savings could be realized by leasing a Lamborghini and paying taxes on the monthly payment, rather than paying all taxes at the time of delivery. If leased for business purposes, it may be possible to deduct part of the cost. LFS does not offer tax advice so please get the advice of your tax professional for your particular situation. • Stay Current with technology – Leasing also gives the customer the ability to stay current on Lamborghini’s rapidly advancing technology. In recent years, the automobile industry has experienced unprecedented technological change. The future will continue to bring technological breakthroughs

in performance, efficiency and personal comfort. With leasing, a customer has the means to stay current with the latest innovations. • Flexible mileage programs tailored to your driving habits – LFS offers a variety of mileage program options ranging from 2,500 to 10,000 miles per year. This allows for leases to be structured to meet your driving needs. • Automatic Payment Plan Program – LFS offers the Automatic Payment Plan Program to have your payments automatically debited from your checking account. You can simply enroll in the LFS Automatic Payment Plan Program so that you can spend more time taming the road in your Lamborghini and less time only thinking about it at your desk.

SINGLE PAY LEASE OPTION Do you like the benefits of a lease but don’t want to worry about the monthly payments? Perhaps you have cash you need to dispose of. Consider the Single Pay Lease option from Lamborghini Financial Services. This alternative to an outright cash purchase allows you to pay a single, one-time up-front payment for the entire term of the lease. The payment will generally be less than the sum total of the payments in a conventional lease as the payment is calculated utilizing a lower rate (rent charge). The Single Pay Lease simultaneously retains the benefits of a conventional lease but allows you to enjoy the same convenience as if you had paid cash since the cycle of monthly payments, check writing and accounting is bypassed. A Single Pay Lease also benefits the lessee by transferring the concern for depreciation risk associated with purchasing a new Lamborghini to LFS and frees up money to be put to work for you. And like our standard lease program, the Single Pay option is based on monthly payments and since taxes are assessed on these payments, you can take advantage of the tax benefits described above. Like what you hear or still have questions? Contact your sales representative at Lamborghini Newport Beach. They are all trained to assist you with any help you need.

LAMBORGHINI FINANCIAL SERVICES – LEASING TERMS Gross Capitalized Cost: The agreed upon value of the Vehicle at lease signing and any items you pay over the Lease Term (such as service contracts, insurance, and any outstanding prior credit or lease balance). Capitalized Cost Reduction: The amount of any Net Trade-in Allowance, rebate, noncash credit, or cash you pay that reduces the Gross Capitalized Cost. Adjusted Capitalized Cost (Adjusted Cap Cost): The amount used in calculating your Base Monthly Payment or Base Single Payment. Residual Value: The value of the Vehicle at the end of the Lease used in calculating your Base Monthly Payment or Base Single Payment. Depreciation and any Amortized Amounts: The amount charged for the Vehicle’s decline in value through normal use and for other items paid over the Lease Term.
