THE TASTE OF PRAGUE DAY 1 Meet & greet the group upon arrival to Prague at the airport, transfer by bus to the city centre and enjoy the first taste of local culture and history by short guided walk introducing the Old Town with all its historical monuments. The day concludes the welcome dinner accompanied by the live piano music in the restaurant overlooking Prague. DAY 2 Ride by the historical tram to the area of Prague Castle, visit of the unique historical places: Strahov Library – admire the beauty of Theological and Philosophical Halls, enjoy a small refreshment and miniconcert of guitar and flute there. Prague Castle follows with its ceremonial room – Spanish Hall, Rudolph Gallery, Rothmayer Hall and the visit of St.Vitus Cathedral and famous Golden Lane with its picturesque houses. After lunch and short break in Lobkowitz Palace walk to the Gardes below the Prague Castle and enjoy the restful atmosphere and beauty of the gardens. The evening on the boat on the Vltava river, enjoy the music and taste traditional Czech meals and wines. DAY 3 Ride by veteran cars to the nearby Konopiště Castle – one of the Czech Republic’s most beautiful fortress-palaces used as a private residence by Austria’s Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination in 1914 led to World War I. The Castle offers the collections of weaponry, tapestries and art and informs about the lives of the Archduke and his family. The afternoon will focus on the creativity. The possibility to create own glass taller in the Manto Gallery and meet the owner of the gallery – Mr. Tony Manto – the leading Czech glass artist. The evening gala dinner in the historical Prague venue with the excellent cuisine and evening programme. DAY 4 Handover of the products from Manto Gallery Farewell and transfer to the airport and departure
THE MILITARY ADVENTURE AND OTHER THRILLS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC DAY 1 Meet & greet the group at the arrival hall of Václav Havel Airport. Transfer by bus to the hotel, welcome drink. Guided walk inroducing the centre of Prague with main historical monuments. Dinner in the most famous and oldest pub and brewery, tasting the national cuisine and Czech beer. DAY 2 Transfer by helicopters to the ex-military zone close to Prague (45 km) to enjoy the military adventure there. Experience army drill in Training Camp and obstacle course, test the ability to hit the moving target in the shooting range or shoot in the laser shooting, ride the strong cars or even tanks. After these adventures transfer to the nearby Medieval tavern in Dětenice, take a rest and enjoy the special dinner with medieval programme there. DAY 3 Enjoy the thrilling sensation of skydiving, without a parachute or airplane. The wind tunnel in Skydive Arena is the only circular glass flight chamber in the world. Feel what it‘s like when the wind blows at a speed of over +300 km/h. This thrilling activity is designed for all physically healthy people and is under continuous supervision of professional instructors. After the thrilling experience transfer by veteran cars to the Škoda automobile museum in Mladá Boleslav. Škoda is one of the world‘s oldest automotive brands and the Museum highlights this history in the original production halls in which the company manufactured cars until 1928. „Tradition, Evolution and Precision in Harmony“ is the leitmotif of the whole Museum project. On the way back to Prague you will visit the Mělnik Castle, enjoy the wine tasting in the Castle cellars and dinner in the Castle restaurant. DAY 4 Departure day. Farewell and transfer to the airport.
