Industry Forum Time: Wednesday 11.00am—12.30pm Room: Conference Room 5I (Level 5) Presenter: Gerry Lamay, Theo Kalomirkis & James Chen With the focus of this year’s expo being on “Technologies for the Future, and Home Theater Design” CEDIA has invited three of the best international presenters, Theo Kalomirkis—TK Theater, Gerry Lamay—Home Acoustic Alliance (HAA) and James Chen. On the first day they will facilitate an open forum where attendees will be able actively participate in this industry discussion on home theater design. This discussion is designed as an interactive session allowing the opportunity for attendees to have their questions answered. The event is FREE to attend and seats are limited, so book early to avoid missing out!
Audio Set‐up and Calibration Time: Wednesday 1.00pm—5.00pm Room: Conference Room 5I (Level 5) Presenter: Gerry Lamay Explore the complex science of audio calibration within a home theatre setting. Participants receive the knowledge required to efficiently listen, properly utilize calibration equipment, and efficiently perform an advanced home theatre audio calibration. At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to; > Explain how a good audio system should be designed > List sound practices for system connections > Operate audio calibration equipment and interpret data > Calibrate a home theatre audio system
