I’ve always been fascinated by a human centred approach in design. As a designer I like to borrow methods from anthropology and sociology since I like to work with people in the field. What I prefer in a beginning of a project is working in the field with people, exchanging, sharing, observing, asking questions, experiencing understanding and above all get my hands dirty. I think it is very important to have a human centred approach in social design. Sometimes designers generate ideas from his or her next door neighbour, a child of 4 years or your grandmother. We live in a world of objects, these objects were created by humans for humans, but to create a real, useful and functional object, we have to understand who the user is first.
