Responding to the live brief submitted from YCN. The brief was to develop a small campaign that re introduces, promotes Heinz Salad Cream. Not enough people are choosing Heinz Salad Cream, I want to increase it’s awareness and explore the concept of it’s flexibility, it’s not only a salad dressing. Tomato Ketchup runs with this idea of it being ‘The Secret Ingredient’, I wanted to work with something similar.

Brief 4 - YCN - Heinz Salad Cream

I have designed some mail outs that would be sent out publically. I wanted to attract people to Heinz Salad Cream, everyone enjoys free products, so, to also engage the reader with the mailout, there is a small word puzzle to solve and then a chance to win a free bottle of Salad Cream. I feel the fact that it’s free will start to encourage the purchasing of it.

Brief 4 - YCN - Heinz Salad Cream

Here is a small card that would be attached to the neck of the bottle of Heinz Salad Cream. There would also be a little green pencil attached to the bottle, wrapped to it by the label around the bottle. This is to once again, make the purchase of Heinz Salad Cream a little more engaging and interesting. Also getting a little green pencil for free could be a slightly persuasive selling point.
