Early Childhood Screening

The early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are an important time of rapid learning and growth. Early Childhood Screening is a FREE and simple check of how your child is growing and developing. This is not a test. Your child will not pass/fail.

Between the ages of 3 and 4, screening can detect possible health or learning concerns, so that children can get help before they start school.

Discover more about their development and learning, such as:

• Thinking, language, and communication skills

• Social and emotional development

• Large and small muscle coordination

• Height and weight

• Vision and hearing

• Immunization status

Early screening is best.

Art & Creativity

Mr. Lenzmeier

As a child, I enjoyed the creative building process. This love led me to study art at St. John’s University and the College of St. Benedict. While there, I discovered my passion for art and the clay medium. Collaborating and conversing with others, who shared my passion, led me to continue my studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato to study art education. I see teaching as a way to pass on my love and excitement for the creative process. I want to excite and inspire others to explore their artistic passions, as well. I have taught art, K-12, for 30+ years and have been at Clover Ridge Elementary for 8 of those.

Facility Rental

The Eastern Carver County Schools School Board encourages use of school facilities by outside groups. The Facilities Team schedules district facilities and athletic fields. If you are interested in reserving space visit our website at district112.org/community/facility-rental. You can check the availability calendar, view fees, and request a space online.

Eastern Carver County Schools has three (3) performing art facilities that have been immaculately maintained, with continuous technological upgrades, to provide a quality production for your group. We have trained staff available for your productions that will provide the professional artistic presentation of your event.

We also partner with the City of Victoria and rent two sheets of ice at the Victoria Recreation Center. For ice time scheduling, or questions please contact Alex Urquhart, Arena Manager, at urquharta@district112.org.

Ed•e -- a mobile community connection

Nowavailableforrental!

Eastern Carver County Schools’ Community Education and district Transportation Department have partnered with Carver County Public Health to create Ed•e. The repurposed bus will serve as a mobile community connection – bringing educational enrichment, learning opportunities and some health services to Carver County families and residents where they live – right in their own neighborhoods.

For more information, visit ce4all.org or contact Facilities & Operations Manager Maddie Lund. lundm@district112.org

A substantial grant from UCare made it possible to transform the bus, which was donated by Positive Connections, into a mobile learning and meeting place. The renovated bus includes access to broadband Internet, smart tv screen, small group meeting space, workspaces and chairs. Ed•e is equipped with a wheelchair lift, a generator and HVAC system for year-round use.

Summer full day programs

Summer fun, friends, activities, and enrichment for children who require full-day supervision throughout the summer!

Summer Edventures*

3-5 years & entering Kindergarten

Summer Edventures is a full-day childcare program specifically for preschool-aged children age 3 (by 9/1/22) through entering kindergarten.

In Summer Edventures, your child will be actively engaged in both indoor and outdoor activities in areas of art, science, music, dramatic play and many more. A rest period is also a part of our daily schedule. We also utilize outside vendors for our on-site fieldtrips to bring the fun to our preschoolers throughout the summer.

*All children enrolled in Summer Edventures must be fully potty trained and independent in self-help skills.

Entering grades 5-8

All students entering 5th-8th grade are welcome to join us for an incredible adventure this summer. We look forward to great days filled with exciting events and activities to keep your heart pounding. If you are trying to keep your finger on what’s hot in our community for youth…Check THE PULSE!

THE PULSE is designed to meet the needs of middle school students as they grow into responsible teens. At times, young people will be outside of the direct supervision of adults with clear expectations about appropriate boundaries and rules. Abuse of rules, check-in times, and set parameters will result in loss of privileges. Attention to the needs of young teens and pre-teens will be given and, at times, different age groups will have different boundaries in terms of supervision.
