• Participants must be accompanied by a staff or family member for the first few events.
• Some participants may need a family member or home staff to attend with them indefinitely due to medical, safety, or behavioral needs.
Guidelines for Participating in Activities
The following guidelines have been developed to ensure participants’ safety and enjoyment. The Magnifying Abilities staff supervising each activity will enforce these guidelines.

• Avoid activities that may hurt or injure other participants (physically or emotionally).
• Be able to take care of personal hygiene.
• No consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed at any MA events by participants, family members or staff.
If concerns arise regarding participants, the supervising Magnifying Abilities staff will discuss the situation with involved parties. If needed, families, home staff, or other individuals will be contacted regarding the incident. If issues cannot be rectified, individuals may be required to attend activities with a supervisor or will be asked to not attend the activity for a period of time.
