About Us

Connect to Baby (CTB) is a free program that uses the power of play to build strong connections between parents and babies and members of the parenting team to strengthen your parenting team and your connection to your child.

Weekly digital parenting resources

OR a short, 6-session program

We come to you at the time that best works for you and your parenting team, including weekends.

5 sessions are via Zoom

We are currently accepting enrollment for babies 24 months or younger

Enrollment Process

The program is delivered in two different ways. Some families meet with one of our facilitators 6 times – usually on Zoom -- to discuss and practice different parenting skills. Other families receive the information just through text messages – about once a week. We think both ways will be helpful, but we’re doing both to find out which way works best for families.

When you enroll, a team member from Connect to Baby will contact you by calling and texting you and your parenting partner.

Your first meeting is about 30 minutes to learn a little about your family and your baby so that we can understand how CTB works for different families. This includes:

Review of consent and our system assigns you to the facilitator or text message version of the program – a process that is totally random.

A short video play session with you all to learn about how your baby likes to play.

What do we mean by parenting team?

Itistwopeoplewhoareworkingtogethertoraise achild.Itcanbethebiologicaloradoptive motherandbiologicaloradoptivefather.

Aparentingteamcanalsobe2mothersor2 fathers.Ifeitherthemotherorfatherisnot currentlyinvolvedwiththebaby,aparenting teammembercanbeagrandparent,stepfather/mother,godmom/dad,oldersibling,uncle, aunt,fatherfigureormotherfigure.
