The Chicago-born anti-bridezilla (she walked down the aisle at her own wedding barefoot) describes herself as “genetically coded for cold weather with an affinity for California.” Using the Golden State’s late-1970s rock era as her style inspiration, Guy’s N.Y. venue for unfussy brides-to-be provides all the details: custom-made veils, Art Deco jewelry, even organic beauty products. “Every bride that comes into my showroom wants that natural Stevie Nicks or Bridget Bardot look on her wedding day,” says Guy. With that in mind, she sources crowns, headpieces and vintage accessories that speak to a casually chic clientele.
