It’s been a busy year for Cairo: In addition to graduating from high school this spring and getting accepted to USC, the 18-year-old also inked a contract with Ford Models. Though she’s headed to London to model this summer, followed by trips to Italy and France to spend time with family, California is always in her heart. Her perfect day in L.A. includes meals at her favorite restaurants (Zinque, Porta Via and Katsuya top the list), and time spent with her mom (philanthropist Alexandra Dwek), boyfriend and best friend. “There’s never a boring day in this town,” says Cambrie. One look at what’s on the Next Model’s plate and we’re inclined to agree. On top of her studies at Pepperdine, the 19-year-old channels her energy into her role as a health and fitness expert, sharing her motivational tips across her social media platforms and in pop-up @fitwithcambrie workout classes taking place across SoCal this summer. Sisters and high-school students Abby and Izzy both agree that the best way to start the day is with a workout, whether it’s a Body by Simone or SoulCycle class. “Another one of my favorite things to do on a great summer day is to head to Malibu and surf,” says Izzy. And, of course, my surfboard,” says Izzy Smidt, 15. Together with her sister and friends, the tight-knit group of L.A. natives spent a day doing what they do best: trying on clothes, swapping stories, and turning the camera on themselves, all while soaking up the sun.
