Time Changes On Trash Day In Tahoe Donner
In an effort to improve trash services, Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD) will be performing a re-route of the Tahoe Donner community. Your trash collection day will remain the same, but you may notice changes to the collection time, driver and truck type servicing your stop. Please put all trash out by 6:30AM to avoid any service interruption while the new schedule is implemented. For more information, call (530) 583-7800.
Flushable Wipes Clog Pipes

The Truckee Sanitary District (TSD) is Truckee’s public agency responsible for the collection and conveyance of wastewater. Its mission is to protect public health and the environment while providing its customers the highest level of service. One of the best ways to care for your family, your neighbors and our shared mountain community is to exercise safe waste practices.
In particular, “flushable” wipes do not disintegrate like regular toilet paper. They create harmful solid blockages in sewage pipes; these blockages have occurred in Tahoe Donner in recent months. Please place any “flushable wipes” you use in the garbage. To learn more about safe waste practices, visit truckeesan.org
