Summer Program June 7 - August 13, 2021 Mathnasium Summer Math Camp is a great way to give your student fun activities to do during the summer while also meeting their educational needs. Our individualized, flexible programs can be tailored to meet your child’s specific goals.       

Mathnasium STEM Camp Students receive personalized math instruction, STEM activities, and game time. Review and preview grade level concepts. Week long camps available throughout the summer starting June 7th! Hours are 9:30-12:30 daily ages 6-13 $125 per student

Summer Math Enrichment We provide targeted instruction during the summer. These are 1-hour standards-based sessions on the above-mentioned topics.

At the Wolverine Baseball Camp, we focus on the fundamentals of baseball. Correct fundamentals are the backbone to any successful athlete.

Each ballplayer will be working within their age groups as we try to emphasize learning baseball skills, sportsmanship, and a working attitude as each player tries to maximize his potential. During the defensive segments of the camp, infield play and outfield play will be instructed.

Camp Objective:

The goal of our football camp is to provide young athletes an opportunity to improve fundamentals in a fun, exciting, and safe environment. Coach Scott Simonds Coach Simonds is a proud graduate of Texas A & M University where he played Setter and was Team Captain. He was named to the all SIVA conference list twice, helped lead the team to two SIVA Conference Championships, and helped lead the team to a 9th place finish at the NIRSA Collegiate Club Championship his Senior year. Coach Simonds is entering his 23rd year at CCHS, his 18th year as the Head Volleyball Coach and he’s accumulated 494 career wins all at CCHS. His Varsity teams have made the playoffs every year, won 9 District Championships and made it to the State Semifinals in 2008 and the State Finals in 2016. Coach Simonds has been named District Coach of the Year 7 times, the Galveston County Coach of the Year 5 times and Houston Area Coach of the Year twice.

Coach Simonds has also been named TGCA All Star Coach in 2009 and GHVCA and TAVC All Star Coach in 2016.

Staff The camp is conducted by Coach Simonds, the CCHS Volleyball staff, and former CCHS players and collegiate volleyball players.

General Camp Information The camp is open to any athletes entering the 4th through 9th grades from any school. The campers will participate in fun activities as well as learn the basic volleyball skills including: setting, passing, defense, blocking, serving, hitting and peppering. On the last day of the camp, the campers will participate in a camp tournament. Campers should wear their camp t-shirt on the last day of camp for the camp tournament. Campers should report 20 minutes early on the first day for check-in.

The plan this year is for camp to be held at Clear Creek High School in Carlisle Fieldhouse. Neither this organization nor this event is sponsored, endorsed or otherwise affiliated with Clear Creek ISD.

Charger Baseball Camp Monday, June 7 – Thursday, June 10 Next year’s 1st-9th graders Camp Hours: 9:00 – 12:00. ***This year camp will be at the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex because our field will be under construction.*** Where: Chester L. Davis Sportsplex – We will be on the Pony and Colt Fields.

Instructors: Clear Springs Baseball Coaches and Former Players Equipment: Campers must provide their own gear.

Insurance: Campers and Staff will be covered by a group accident insurance policy.

Cost: $100 – Cash, Checks (Payable to Charger Baseball Camp), and Venmo - @ChargerBaseballCamp (include player’s name) Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt.

Each camper must have the attached waiver on file to participate.

Coach Anthony Renfro

Coach Renfro is a graduate of Sonora High School where he played football, basketball and ran track. He went on to play college football at Hardin Simmons University under Jimmy Keeling. At HSU, Renfro was a part of 4 conference championship teams.

Coach Renfro is entering his 18st year of coaching football and his 1st year as Head Coach at Clear Spring HS. Coach Renfro spent 8 years coaching at Clear Springs High School. 5 years under Coach Hartman as the Special Teams Coordinator and 3 years under Coach Dailey as the assistant head coach/defensive coordinator. Coach Renfro has been a part of 8 district championships and coached several all state and all district football players.

General Camp Information The camp is open to athletes entering Kinder through 9th grades from any CCISD school.

The campers will participate in fun activities as well as learn the basic football skills including blocking tackling, kicking, punting, and base offense and defense plays.

Campers should wear their camp T-shirt on the last day of camp for the camp competition. Camp will be held at the CSHS football field. Campers should report at least 15 minutes early on the first day for checkin.

Coach Shannon McClellen Coach McClellen is a graduate of Clear Creek High School where she played volleyball and softball. She went to State her senior year in volleyball at Clear Creek. She went on to play Collegiate Volleyball at Lee College and helped lead her team to a conference championship and the National tournament, where her team got 7th in the nation. Coach McClellen is entering her 21st year of coaching volleyball and her 10th year as a Head Coach at Clear Spring HS. Coach McClellen is a three time “Coach of the Year” for the 24-6A district and also received recognition as Galveston County “Coach of the Year” in 2015. The Clear Springs team has made playoffs seven of the nine years she’s been coaching. Varsity lost in the Regional Semi-Final round of playoffs to Katy HS (top 4 in the Region). Every year the program and players continue to get stronger. She hopes to continue improving the CSHS program and setting new records in the years to come.

Staff The camp is conducted by Coach McClellen and an outstanding staff of Clear Springs High School coaches, collegiate volleyball players and high school Alumni.

General Camp Information

The camp is open to athletes entering 3rd through 9th grades from any CCISD school.

The campers will participate in fun activities as well as learn the basic volleyball skills including setting, passing, defense, blocking, serving, hitting and peppering.

On Thursday, the campers will participate in a camp tournament, parents are encouraged to attend. Campers should wear their camp T-shirt on the last day of camp for the camp tournament. Camp will be held at the CSHS gyms (located across from the track).

Campers should report at least 15 minutes early on the first day for check-in.
