REGIONAL TRAINING

AND BEYOND...

Civil Train has always had a strong focal point of providing training services for regional civil construction members operating outside the metropolitan area. This can be difficult at times due to Trainer availability to send metro-based Trainers at short notice; however, our team continues to make improvements on our scheduling processes to ensure members can capitalise on our Trainers’ movements. We have dedicated Training Administrators and Training Coordinators who have extensive experience in our training products and can determine your training needs. Our Administrators and Coordinators work closely alongside our Trainers/Assessors to ensure qualification training and

opportunities for short courses are communicated and made available. For instance, if our team is in Mount Gambier, Port Lincoln or on Kangaroo Island delivering training, it ensures time is allocated to provide any additional service whilst we are in the region. The efficiency of the team has definitely increased as it’s no longer the state or territory that defines what training can be obtained by organisations seeking training and recognition of skills. Our staff have recently ventured into Western Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria to deliver training. As we see COVID-19 restrictions starting to relax, it will also open up opportunities for our team to move more freely and enable us to not only move Trainers but transfer their technical skills and knowledge to any location. As our training team continues to grow, and with the WA, NT and SA Civil Train team members continuing to work cooperatively together, there is more opportunity to provide more training products. So, if you are operating across borders or find yourself looking at courses/training products on our interstate/territory webpage, be mindful we may be able to bring it to you.
