I've failed over and over again in my life, and THAT is why I succeed.
Michael Jordan

Fail Forward, Fail Often

You've got to understand that you're going to fail. It's part of performance and part of life. But it's not your failures that define you, it's how you choose to respond. Think about your hero, mentor, or someone you highly respect; chances are they had to overcome failure many times to achieve the level of success they have--which is probably why you admire them so much.

Journal Reflections

Take a moment each day...

Reflect on what is going well for you in your life that day and what you need to improve.

1. Write in your journal or notebook when or where you were able to use a growth mindset and what happened. What did you think and say? What were the results?

2. Write also in your journal or notebook when or where you were not able to use a growth mindset. What did you think? What did you say or do? What were those results? What can you say or do differently the next time?

Soon you will notice it gets easier to replace a fixed mindset with an open, growing and learning mindset! Ms. Monika
