Evensong on All Saints’ Sunday November 7, 2021 Welcome to Christ Church Cathedral! Fully vaccinated worshipers are encouraged to wear masks indoors on campus. Worshipers who are not fully vaccinated, including children over the age of two, are expected to wear masks. We have a socially distanced and masked seating section available. The east transept and first rows near the pulpit are reserved for those who choose both to physically distance and wear masks. Thomas Marvil is the Assistant Director of Music and Organist at St. Anne Catholic Church in Houston. A 2020 graduate of the University of Houston with a MM in Organ Performance, he also holds a BM in Sacred Music from Westminster Choir College. His organ teachers have included Matthew Lewis, Alan Morrison, and Daryl Robinson. Starting in 2018, Tom served as Organ Scholar at Christ Church Cathedral for two years before departing for St. Anne’s in 2020. In addition to his church position, Tom is active in the Houston area as a choral accompanist and maintains a private piano studio. In October 2021, he was elected as a Member-at-Large to the board of the Houston chapter of the American Guild of Organists. In his free time, Tom enjoys collecting plants, reading, and taking care of his border terrier, Reggie. 1
