I am an architect who has always pursued the interest in understanding architecture from a social and human approach, where I consider the idea of architecture as a way of providing a solution to the habitability of the 21st century from the creation of spaces that start from the initiative to understand the way of living of each individual, which leads to relationships and permanence suitable for the good inhabiting of spaces. Likewise, I am interested in providing an architecture of individual and collective culture, which allows the experience of a memory of living in communities, based on various experiences that allow the user to be the owner of the physical and sensitive space when traveling and stay in architecture.”

| PRESENTATION |

I consider that I´m a person who takes the voice of leadership for the development of activities and tasks. In the same way, the architecture degree has allowed me to explore new forms of learning that support the exploration of creativity and artistic and formal interpretation.

I have always been interested in understanding the true aesthetic, functional and social purpose of architecture, and have come to understand that architecture is the creation of habitable spaces that allow individual and collective development of the user.

I am interested in solving problems that direct me to the management of my individual and collective skills within architecture, I live with the desire to learn something new every day, which allows me to grow as a professional and as a human being, I like to provide the knowledge acquired in my profession to my colleagues, I am very receptive when it comes to receiving any kind of advice or criticism that allows me to learn from my actions. Likewise, I am a responsible person who seeks the collective good before the individual, where teamwork stands out when developing a task or professional activity.

The armed conflict in San José del Guaviare has had a significant impact on the indigenous peoples that inhabit the region. For years, various guerrillas and armed groups have had a presence in the area, leading to forced displacement, violence, and human rights violations.

Indigenous peoples, such as the Nukak Maku and Sikuani, have been especially vulnerable to their proximity to conflict zones and their traditional lifestyle, which often conflicts with the interests of armed groups. In addition, the control of strategic territories by these groups has threatened the cultural integrity and autonomy of indigenous communities in San José del Guaviare. Despite the efforts to seek peace in the region, the presence and impact of the armed conflict on the lives of indigenous peoples has been a painful and complex reality.

The Ensamble project has as its purpose the design of an “ideal block”, having as its basic idea the creation of public and private spaces that promote relationships and social development within the community and its surroundings, for which the revitalization and creation of micro-habitats is sought that give way to a more direct relationship between people who inhabit the place, promoting public space from cultural, social and commercial activities.

PUBLIC SPACES FOR THE PEOPLE

The quality of public spaces is directly related to the occupation, intensity and variety of social relationships that will take place within these spaces, since it will be able to generate appropriation by the user, which will increase the interaction and meeting of different communities and behaviors.

LIVING

Inhabiting is shown as a place from which the identity of the space is sought from culture, customs and memory, giving way to experiences (conscious or unconscious) generated by the user, who is the owner of the space.

The name “TUÁ” used for the project has a special meaning and originates from the Tierra Bomba community itself. This expression is used by the inhabitants of the island as a way of referring to something big. By adopting this name for the Master Plan, it seeks to generate a sense of identification and pride among the residents of Tierra Bomba, and in turn, convey a message of greatness.

TIERRA BOMA | COLOMBIA

TIERRA BOMBA | URBAN PLAN

The master plan developed for the Municipality of Tierra Boomba, is based on the creation of suitable spaces for the good living of the community from a natural structure and architecture that communicates with each other for the development of the community in both public and private space. The new land planning development provides better communication through green paths that enhance the pedestrian’s experience with their surroundings.

BLOCK | PRODUCTIVE HOUSING

Tuá proposes the creation of productive groups organized by blocks, which were developed in order to generate spaces suitable for living and collective and individual development. In addition, one of the objectives was to provide the community with productive housing where said users can develop different commercial activities that improve their quality of life based on microeconomics for the development of agricultural and artisan activities.

A water collection system known as “Wakar-water” is proposed, which fulfill the function of capturing water through the humidity of the environment through a condensation process, using a microwoven mesh that allows functionality throughout the structure. However, the developed system functions as a rainwater collector thanks to the roof that slopes towards the interior of the structure.

The Warka Water project aims to be a lowcost and sustainable solution to provide clean water in areas where there is no access to conventional drinking water sources, such as wells or pipelines. In addition to providing drinking water, the Warka Water Tower can also serve as a gathering place and community for local people.

COMPOSTING | WASTE MANAGEMENT

Waste collection and collection centers are proposed per block, this in order to provide sustainable waste management. These strategic points allow residents to separate their organic and inorganic waste, encouraging the reduction, reuse and recycling of materials. The implementation of these posts also promotes environmental awareness and the active participation of the community in sustainable practices. By converting organic waste into compost, a valuable natural fertilizer is obtained that benefits local agriculture and reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers.

PROGRESIVE AND PRODUCTIVE HABITAT

This approach seeks to provide rural communities with homes that not only meet their immediate needs, but can also adapt and grow over time. The proposed homes seek to provide ease of construction in future expansions and improvements, thus promoting sustainable development and greater resilience to the needs of users.

Tuá seeks a sustainable alternative to revitalize Tierra Bomba and empower its inhabitants, promoting a harmonious lifestyle with nature and its deep-rooted traditions.
