REALTOR® Assistance Fund Trust (RAFT) is a trust fund, managed by the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS®, through the Waccamaw Community foundation. The sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to REALTORS®, Affiliates and their immediate families who face financial hardship due to serious or catastrophic illness.

REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is a nonpartisan committee that supports local candidates who champion legislation that furthers the REALTOR® cause. The majority of dollars raised by RPAC stay within our local community.

RPAC has helped stop county impact fees, fought for legislation that regulates flood insurance and is currently working on measures to regulate area HOAs.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH In 2017 CCAR built a home for a local family in need by raising $35,000 and supplying manpower, with more than 100 REALTORÂŽ volunteers.

The house was dedicated in December 2017, making the dream of home ownership a reality for the family.

Boys & Girls Club: hosted 3 sessions of job readiness programs for teens and helped 9 college bound grads with college care packages Hosted 2 American Red Cross Blood Drives supplying 42 pints of blood Garden City Beach Clean-up: 40 participants and 60 lbs of trash collected Collected over 300 toys and canned goods for Helping Hand & Toys for Tots
