I'm Going on an Airplane

I’M GOING ON A TRIP

I’m going on a trip: PART 1

I am going on a trip.

I

will go to the airport.

I will stand in a line. I will show someone my ticket.

I might give my suitcase to the person behind the counter.

I will stand in a new line.

I will put my things in a bin. I might have to take my shoes off.

I will walk through a metal detector. It might make funny sounds.

Afterwards, I will get my things from the bin.

Then I will walk to my gate. I will sit in a chair and wait. I can play a game or talk to my family.

When it’s time to board the plane, I will stand in line again.

I will find my seat and put on my seatbelt.

There will be announcements, then the plane will take off.

When we land, my suitcase will be waiting for me.

During my Flight: PART 2

I will find my seat on the plane.

I will buckle my seatbelt.

I will wait until everyone sits down.

I can play a game or read a book.

The engine will start and the plane will back up onto the runway.

I can watch out the window as the plane drives.

The plane will get in line and wait for it’s turn to take off.

When the plane takes off it will be very noisy.

I can ask how long the flight takes and make a timer?

I will get served a drink and snack by the stewardess.

I can go to the bathroom at the back of the plane.

When its time to land I have to put my seatbelt back on.

When the plane lands I must stay in my seat until I get to a complete stop.

I will wait my turn to get off the plane.

I am at my destination!

After my Flight: PART 3

My plane has landed!

I will stand and wait calmly to get off the plane.

I will walk for a long time.

I might pick up my suitcase from the baggage claim.

I will leave the airport. I might get in a taxi or get on a bus.

I will drive to the place I am staying.
