Important Announcements
Monday, April 13: Due to a special faculty and staff meeting, students will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m. After 2 p.m., the front gate will close and students can be picked up in the student lot by the Grove entrance.
Attention Junior and Senior Parents: Information regarding the Upper Division Ball happening on May 9, 2026, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel can be found here. Please review all details and guidelines with your students Tickets are on sale now for $100, plus $2 service fee, and will increase to $120, plus $2 service fee on April 16, and end May 1, or when tickets sell out Guest Passes are needed for anyone who does not attend Jesuit, St. Francis, Cristo Rey or Chesterton. We look forward to a lovely evening!
The City of Sacramento Fruitridge Road Safety and Mobility Plan project team wants to hear from students, parents, and families The Fruitridge Road School Safety Survey is now open to help identify key locations and safety concerns for people walking, biking, and traveling to and from school along the Fruitridge Road corridor For parents, this can be a great activity to do with your child to help inform future traffic safety improvements together. For students, it is a chance to share ideas that can improve the experience of getting to and from school for themselves and their peers Take the survey here. Visit our project website to learn more.

Founder’s Day | Friday, May 15: We will celebrate Founder's Day. There will be no academic instruction on this day, and students are encouraged to leave their backpacks at home Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m., and the campus will close at 12 p.m.
Belonging: Join us for our first Building Bridges for Belonging parent group meeting in the Brother Bertram Hall Living Room on April 30th from 5:30 p m - 7 p m Building Bridges for Belonging is a parent community dedicated to connecting families, strengthening our shared community, and fostering a culture of inclusivity for all If you are looking for a way to get more connected, have a place to ask questions, or meet other parents, this is the place for you! The Down Syndrome Information Alliance is a nonprofit dedicated to building a community of belonging for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Volunteers are needed from July 610th for the iCan Shine Bike Camp, a program that teaches individuals with disabilities how to ride a two-wheeled bike. Girls on the Run of Sacramento needs volunteers for their season-ending 5K which will take place on Saturday May 9 at William Land Park. They need volunteers for the water station, cheering squad, sign making station, and more! This is a great opportunity to support a local nonprofit and help girls achieving their goals. The April donation drive is a laundry and “spring cleaning” drive to support the Spring Forward event at Christian Brothers on April 25! The goal of Spring Forward is to connect families to resources, supplies, and other spring essentials, such as laundry supplies: click here to see and donate to the Amazon wish list. Senior families: Please ask your student to update Scoir with their admissions results, college attendance decision, and any merit scholarships offered The deadline for this information to be added to the graduation program is Friday, May 1st .
The ACT is this weekend: Registered testers should report to their testing location no later than 7:45 a m with their Admission Ticket, calculator, pencil, snack, and water

Summer CB Thrift Shop: The Summer CB Thrift Shop will be open for family shopping June 30 – July 2 in Room 302 from 9 a m – 12:30 p m If you would like to volunteer, please sign up under "Volunteer Opportunities" at Volunteerism – Christian Brothers High School
CB Thrift Shop Donations: The Thrift Shop is accepting donations in the Front Office from 8 a.m. – 4 p m until school ends, and during Summer office hours (8 a m - 2 p m ) Your donations help restock the closet for summer shopping and the upcoming school year. This ministry assists families in obtaining dress-code-compliant wear at no charge All students are encouraged to donate gently used CB clothing that is clean and free of stains, rips, or cuts.

The Future Medical Professionals Club will meet during all school lunch on April 16 and will have a veterinarian (and CB Mom), Dr Shawn Klemmer speaking She is a great speaker and likely will bring an animal (last time a dog) to walk you through what she does as a vet. Do not miss it! and bring your lunch! The next Future Medical Professionals meeting will take place during all school lunch on April 23 Tim Blankenship, a physical therapist, will be the speaker All are invited to attend!
