Important Announcements

Liturgies | Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m.: Mass is celebrated in the chapel Parents and family members of CB are always welcome to join!

Senior Parents! Your student is invited to an all-night graduation celebration with their class at Country Club Lanes (2600 Watt Ave )! The event will feature a variety of fun activities, including bowling, laser tag, a photo booth, arcade games, henna artists, karaoke, and plenty of food and drinks. Seniors! You’re invited to join your classmates on the Main Lawn as a class for one last time on Monday, May 19 to celebrate a Senior Sunset from 7 - 8:30 p.m. From 7 - 7:30, join us in the parking lot to decorate your car Then by 7:30, head to the Main Lawn for one last evening as a class together More info here.

Attention Senior Families: Attached is the Senior Family letter sent in late April. This letter includes essential details for the upcoming week of graduation activities including gown/ticket distribution, mandatory rehearsals, class photo, and all info needed for baccalaureate mass, lunch on campus and the commencement ceremony Grand Night information is also included Please take the time to review all of this information with your senior so we are all prepared for the big week ahead!

Sell Back Your Texts and Give Back! On Thursday, May 22 after the A Set final and Leave to Serve Prayer Service, students will have a chance to sell back their textbooks directly on campus By logging in to their MBS account in advance, students can indicate which books they want to sell back, and then can bring their books to Rooms 104 or 305 CB will take the books, box them, and ship them, and 5% of the book buyback price will be donated to CB: all of the money will go to support student scholarships! Summer School: High School courses begin on Monday, June 9th Classes meet for six weeks, June 9th – July 18th for either 5- or 10-unit classes. Note: Wednesday, June 19th, and July 4th are holidays

Summer Camps: Summer camps begin on Monday, June 9th and run through throughout July 18th

Spring 2025 Finals and Early Dismissals | May 14-22 - Please make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a healthy breakfast. If your student is aware of missing any final exam and in need of alternate test date, please reach out to the grade-level counselor to make arrangements All classes, except classes that take AP exams, must meet on review days; Students in Pass/Fail classes must attend class on review days Students in Pass/Fail classes, or courses with AP exams, do not have to attend on finals day. In order to not disrupt test taking on Finals Days, early dismissal on these days is not allowed

Stress Less Dress Week: From Wednesday, May 14 to Thursday, May 22, CB students may participate in Stress Less Dress Week by wearing jeans, sweatpants, or PJs with a CB top NO yoga pants or leggings are allowed.

Food/Cafeteria changes during Review/Finals Weeks: During these days of Review and Finals, full meals will not be prepared by the cafeteria sta Only smaller, "grab and go" items will be available due to the limited time in the schedule We recommend packing snacks/meal for students to eat during designated break times. Breakfast is available every day of reviews/finals. Full lunch menu available on Wednesday, May 14 and Tuesday, May 20.

PARENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: There are many volunteer needs in the next few weeks and into summer. Please consider joining us on campus to assist.

Students who earned D’s may want to consider summer school to stay on track for 4-year colleges. Please contact your student’s grade level counselor for more information Students who earned an F must attend summer school in order to enroll in classes at CB next year. Final S.A.L.T. Drive: Help the Sophomore Class Support Refugee Families! World Relief is a nonprofit directly benefitting newly arrived refugees in Sacramento. The Sophomore class is working to help build “Welcome Kits” for families arriving in Sacramento, and is gratefully accepting items on the attached Welcome Kit list. Summer Clothes Closet shopping dates for all families: July 8-July 11, 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

School dress code clothing is needed. The following dress code clothing is requested to replenish and serve our students for the Clothes Closet: CBHS/college sweatshirts, polo shirts, CB logo shirts, long and short pants, PE shirts and shorts. All gently used clothing is available at no cost to all CBHS families Donations may be dropped o in the Front Oce Please refer to the Dress Code guidelines in the Parent Handbook for more details.
