Attention Junior and Senior Parents: Information regarding the Upper Division Ball happening on May 9, 2026, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel can be found in here. Please review all details and guidelines with your students. Tickets are on sale now for $100, plus $2 service fee, and will increase to $120, plus $2 service fee on April 16, and end May 1, or when tickets sell out. Guest Passes are needed for anyone who does not attend Jesuit, St. Francis, Cristo Rey or Chesterton. We look forward to a lovely evening!

“The Friends of the Arts” (FOTA), a parent support group for the arts, seeks new members to carry forward the mission into next year. Many of the group’s members are parents of seniors who will be moving on, and the group will need new members who have current students participating in the CB Theatre, Music, Art and Media. Join us for our first Building Bridges for Belonging parent group meeting in the Brother Bertram Hall Living Room on April 30th from 5:30pm - 7:00 pm. Building Bridges for Belonging is a parent community dedicated to connecting families, strengthening our shared community, and fostering a culture of inclusivity for all. If you are looking for a way to get more connected, have a place to ask questions, or meet other parents, this is the place for you! Class of 2028: Sign up for next year's Junior Retreat! Three of the four retreats are sold out. Be sure to register here or email Dr. Jaldon (mjaldon@cbhs-sacramento.org) to be placed on a waitlist for a specific date. Completing a Junior Retreat makes a student eligible to be part of the Senior Retreat Leadership Team (SRLT) in their final year. Being on SRLT is a rewarding experience! Summer VENAVER to Chicago - Applications Due TODAY! The Chicago VENAVER will go to the Brother David Darst Center, which provides transformative immersion experiences grounded in the Lasallian tradition and Catholic Social Teaching. We will work with people and organizations in Chicago directly impacted by homelessness, food insecurity, immigration, etc. Each day of this trip will focus on one social justice theme, and each evening's activities and dialog will include the ability to reflect on underlying causes and what we can do. This 5-night trip will also include one day of sightseeing in Chicago. All rising Juniors and Seniors are invited to apply for this trip. The cost for this trip is $1,000 all-inclusive (airfare, transportation in Chicago, lodging, food, etc.) Click here to submit an application for this VENAVER - applications due today!

Counseling
Senior parents: please encourage your students to update their college admissions results on Scoir and turn in copies of scholarship offers. Seniors can also decline offers from colleges they know they will not be attending to help those off the waitlist hear sooner.

Spring Play | April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26: Tickets are on sale now! EPIPHANY, a comedy by Brian Watkins. Get your reserved seats in advance via the Ticket Hub on the CB website. $5 students, $10 adults.
CB Thrift Shop - School dress code clothing is needed! The following dress code clothing is requested to replenish and serve our students for the CB Thrift Shop, Spring Semester: CBHS /college sweatshirts, polo shirts, CB logo shirts, PE shirts and shorts. Donations may be dropped off in the Front Office. Please refer to the Dress Code guidelines in the Parent Handbook for more details.
