Important Announcements

2026-27 Course Pre-Registration: We are excited to implement a new pre-registration process this year, designed to put mentorship at the center of course selection. Instead of using the PowerSchool portal, we will utilize paper forms to encourage intentional conversations between students, teachers, and counselors. Our goal is to ensure every student selects a schedule that accurately reflects their future aspirations. Grade-level counselors will be visiting Social Studies classrooms shortly to begin this process. Stay tuned for further details from your student's counselor regarding deadlines and next steps.

Driving/ Parking Update: Please note that at this time we have sold out of parking permits for the year so if students have not purchased one, they cannot park on campus during the school day.

Parent Volunteer Fair | Thursday, January 29 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.: Doors open at 5:30 pm and the event will be held in the Cafeteria. Come learn about our new parent engagement structure, the Falcon Faithful, and hear about all of the ways to get involved on campus! All are welcome! Reyna Grande Author: We are excited to share that acclaimed author Reyna Grande will be visiting our campus on February 19. Reyna Grande, author of Across a Hundred Mountains, The Distance Between Us and other lovely books, will join us for a special event featuring a keynote presentation followed by a student-led conversation. Seniors

The Senior Panoramic Picture Day is Thursday, January 29th, 2026 during Falcon Flex. All seniors will be asked to move to the gym at the end of F set, and will be dismissed from the gym once the photo is complete. Pre Order: https://shop.imagequix.com/g1001344929. Graduation Announcements: Seniors interested in purchasing Graduation Announcements may do so from Herff Jones. These are optional for families to purchase, but those interested can click here to place orders. All orders should be placed by March 15!

Lasallian Student Life

Liturgies | Wednesday, January 28 at 8:00 am & Thursday, January 29 at 2:00 pm: Mass is celebrated in the chapel. Parents and family members of CB are always welcome to join!

Kairos: Take advantage of making the final Kairos for your class. The March Kairos will take place March 10-13, 2026. You can register and make payment here. Kairos is a definite highlight in your senior year. It is a fun week of community building, reflection, and celebrating our faith in the presence of God. All that is required is an open mind to the retreat and faith experience. A student does not need to be religious to participate. All are welcome!

The Crewnecks released by the LSLO celebrating our 150th year are available for purchase. We are doing another round of orders. Ticket Spice will open on Friday, January 16 and close on Friday, February 6 for delivery by Valentines. If you'd like to place an order, click here.

Last Chance to Donate: Coats and Jackets to Support Loaves & Fishes! The January donation drive is for new and gently used coats and jackets for those in the Sacramento community in need. All donations of new or gently used coats and jackets of all sizes can be dropped off in the LSLO through the end of the month! All coats will be donated to Loaves and Fishes.

Counseling

Seniors who applied to college via the Common Application must complete the Mid-Year Transcript request form so we can send updated grades to the colleges. Forms are available in Counseling.

Register for the SAT prep class offered at CB on March 14 and 21st leading up the March exam at CB or register for the May prep course ahead of the June weekend exam.

SAT registration for the School Day exam is now available for the March 24th school-day exam. Registration must be done directly through this link provided by CB. Weekend exam registration must be completed on the College Board website at sat.org

Counselors are going into all history classrooms this month to talk about classes for next year. Students will receive a Pre-Registration planning form that requires a parent signature. Frosh will register on Jan 29th , Sophomores Feb 5th , Juniors Feb 12th & 26th during Flacon Flex.

Reminder: Sophomore Academic Planning Night is on Thursday, February 12th at 6 pm in the Theater.

Theatre Showcase: Tickets are on sale now for the CB Theatre Showcase one night only on Friday, February 6th at 7 PM. Come see our most talented Theatre students perform their scenes, songs, monologues and a one act play, before they head to the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival to compete. CB Thrift Shop - School dress code clothing is needed! The following dress code clothing is requested to replenish and serve our students for the CB Thrift Shop, Spring Semester: CBHS /college sweatshirts, polo shirts, CB logo shirts, PE shirts and shorts. Donations may be dropped off in the Front Office. Please refer to the Dress Code guidelines in the Parent Handbook for more details.

The Thrift Shop will reopen on January 29th during the all-student lunch. More dates will be published soon! Questions? Email: clothescloset@cbhs-sacramento.org.

·B.O.B. will meet Thursday during Falcon Flex in room 103.

·Rugby Club will meet Thursday at all school lunch in room 407.

Sport Passes are now on sale for the 2025-2026 season. You may purchase a sport pass through the CB Website under the ticket hub tab at the top of the website.
