Inspired by life since 1875

For 150 years, people’s homes and lives have inspired what we do, which in turn inspires comfort and connection which inspires us all over again. And we can’t wait to see where we go next together.

NETWORK2025 PRESIDENT’S LETTER

INNOVATE, INSPIRE & IMPACT

NETWORK has become the go-to event where the industry gathers to explore innovation, gain inspiration, and shape the future of business. This year’s theme, Innovate, Inspire & Impact, perfectly reflects the commitment of the volunteers who’ve crafted a program sure to deliver on that promise.

NETWORK’s value continues to grow each year with the increasing attendance of C-suite leaders from manufacturers and distributors. This year, we expect our largest-ever audience of CEOs, Presidents, and Chairpersons—joining 800+ professionals from 300 top firms representing over $50 billion in sales—making NETWORK the premier event for our industry’s most successful companies. ASA members attend NETWORK to gain inspiration from top thought leaders in 10 focused educational sessions, plus valuable networking opportunities—all designed to strengthen your business and make the time away from the office well worth it.

Each year, we strengthen the program based on attendee feedback. This year, we’ve moved ASA’s Chief Economist, Dr. Chris Kuehl, to a prime slot so more attendees can hear his crucial 2026 forecast. We’ve also added dynamic sessions on AI and cybersecurity to offer practical insights, and a powerhouse CEO panel from top industry brands to share their outlook on manufacturing and distributor partnerships.

NETWORK2025 in Fort Lauderdale is a must-attend event for you and your team. Check out the brochure, explore the unmatched program, and join us in South Florida, you won’t be disappointed.

See you in Fort Lauderdale.

Sincerely,

Dave Poteete

FEATURED SPEAKER

CAL RIPKEN, JR.

Cal Ripken Jr. is a baseball legend. But legends aren’t born, they’re made. In this talk, Ripken reflects on his life and career, offering lessons learned for the next generation and those to come. He shares the values he has lived by, stories behind what it took to keep the streak alive, and what it meant to bring the World Series to Baltimore. Ripken’s message is simple yet poignant, and essential wisdom to anyone trying to forge a successful life in times that are often chaotic. Blending insights from sports, business, and a life well-lived, Ripken outlines eight rules for the game of baseball and life, drawn from the lessons he has learned on and off the field.

One of the true legends of baseball, Cal Ripken, Jr. broke several professional records during his 21 seasons, but none is as sacred as his consecutive-games-played record. Shattering Lou Gehrig’s streak of 2,131 games by more than 500, Ripken displayed perseverance, endurance, and an everyday work ethic that endeared him to fans, transformed him into a national icon, and some argue, even saved baseball at its darkest moment.

The New Cyberthreat Landscape: How your Business is impacted and How to Be Prepared

Speaker: Rachel Wilson, Managing Director & Head of Wealth Management Data Security & Infrastructure Risk for Morgan Stanley

The cyber threat landscape has never been more concerning to business leaders. According to Accenture’s Cybercrime study, nearly 43% of cyberattacks on small businesses, only 14% are prepared to face such an attack. According to the Identity Theft Resource Center, nearly three-quarters (73%) of US small business owners reported a cyber-attack over the past year, with employee and customer data most likely to be targeted in data breaches. 82% of ransomware attacks in 2021 were against companies with fewer than 1,000 employees and this trend is expanding. Cybersecurity breaches have become alarmingly common, and the threats are growing as we become increasingly reliant on cloud-based computing and other online innovations. While tools to prevent such incidents have become more sophisticated, so have the methods of the hackers.

TO BE THE UNIFIED VOICE THAT DRIVES THE SUCCESS OF THE PHCP AND PVF SUPPLY

In this session, Rachel will present the wide range of cyber security issues and how business owners protect their data and tools available to help.

Topics include:

• Current trends in cybersecurity

• Lessons learned from cyber attacks

• Cybersecurity do’s and dont’s from the trenches
