SALUTATORIAN “You wake up everyday between 5:30 and 6:30 am. Everyday you come to a place to meet the same people, people your age, who share your schedule, do the same things and try to get by. The month seems endless, until it finally ends. The semester seems eternal, until it quickly concludes. You wake up forcefully, wanting to sleep or snooze for a few more minutes. But of course you don’t most times, because you choose to be the responsible person you’re becoming.
As students, adults and individuals, we have chosen how to spend the last 14 years. We have chosen what to make of them and with whom to share the trip with. Choices have changed us. We’ve learned you may trip but you must keep going. Fear of failure is an obstacle that may prevent us from exploring our own possibilities and limits, but there is no growth without this risk. There is no happiness with out letting it go. We must keep risking failure to be better; it is our commitment and responsibility. As Bolivar students we have developed a dedication to excellence in our personal field. School is not about the grades but the experience.
