ROAD TECHNOLOGIES

X-TeX - Cross Weave - Bianchi’s unique process to internally mold X-weaved structural carbon layer - Carbon strips are molded into the carbon structure of the head tube - Exceptional torsional rigidity proven by Bianchi’s profes sional riders

MTB TECHNOLOGIES

CNT - Carbon Nano Tech - Adding Nano material into the matrix system enhances cohesion between fiber and matrix to make the carbon structure packed and tighed - Increased toughness, lifetime and fatigue resistance - Reduced empty spaces and micro cracks of the carbon laminate TWT - Triple Wall Tube - TWT construction allows us to lay-up the composite material plies to form 3 thin walls which are then molded together to form a bond-less monocoque laminate tube - Increased strenght and stiffness to weight ratio - Improved reactivity and ride control

SAS - Shock Assorbing Stays - Special designed rear stays with “S” shape are laminated ed with carbon and glass fibers - Enhanced absorption of the vertical shocks on the rear drop outs without weakening the lateral and torsional stiffness of the frame - Increased power transmission - Reduced vibrations

THT - Triple Hydroformed Technology 1 - Hydroforming process of the top and head tubes 2 - Top and head tubes are welded and then fused together into a monocoque structure 3 - Final hydroforming process increased rigidity and better design

WMP - Wrinkleless Molding Process - Wrinkles in the material affect the property of the whole frame and add more weight - Bianchi avoid wrinkles by pre-tuning the thickness of the laminate of each frame - Increased frame and process efficiency - Reduced weight

CNTT - Carbon Nano Tube Tech - The ultimate generation of nano-technology. Carbon nano tubes with cylindrical structure are combined with epoxy resin and nano powder to increase the fracture toughness by 49% compared to standard resin, 20% higher than nano-technology - Increased material resistance and lifetime of the frame - Reduced empty spaces and micro cracks of the carbon laminate

BAT and K-VID - The combination between Bianchi Active Technology and the Ke vlar Vibration Isolating Device allows us to obtain different stiffness behavior under different forces directions, without wasting power transfer - Special design of the rear rectangle - Kevlar insertions in the seat stays and the carbon fork - Improved shock absorption and adherence on the road

UTSS - Ultra Thin Seat Stay - Thanks to Nano Tube Technology, seat stays tube sections are reduced without weakening power transmission - Improved shock absorption and impact resistance - Maximum power transmission - Weight reduction

ERC - Embedded Reinforcement Construction - Reinforcement carbon ribs are embedded and molded into the structure - ERC contributes to frame stiffness and ride handling in the head tube and Bottom Bracket areas. The crank-frame interface becomes stronger - Significant power-wasting reduction

Ti-NET - Titanium Net Technology - A titanium net is molded together with carbon fiber in the down tube - The net acts as a barrier to protect the frame from possible impacts with stones/material thrown by the front wheel - Increased impact resistance and frame lifetime

DFIS - Dual Function Integrated Seatpost - Bianchi offer the possibility to cut the integrated seat post and insert a traditional one (31,6mm), thanks to a precise thickness calibration of the carbon tube

ARS - Asymmetrical Rear Stays - New rear stays concept obtains a very compact and reactive rear triangle - ARS fits different chainrings combinations for 29” models - Increased power reactivity and rigidity
