What has been the most rewarding to you as a Marching Cavalier?

Being able to get the opportunity to work with a close group of people and getting to grow up with everyone and watch as they grow and get better. The marching band will always be a family no matter where you end up.

Personal Message:

I thank my parents for influencing me to join the band, without them

I wouldn’t have even been able to get out of my shell and join this group. Mr. Caldwell and Lawson, I started with Mr. Lawson in middle school and he was one of the people to introduce the marching band to me. Mr.Caldwell has been there for my entire highschool experience and has helped me in so many ways. I don’t think I would be the person I am today without them.

What has been the most rewarding to you as a Marching Cavalier?

The extreme kindness and adamant teamwork shown by my peers is known to no other organization except the Lord Botetourt Marching Cavaliers and the most rewarding experience is definitely the friends and relationships I’ve developed while being in the band over these last couple years.

Personal Message:

I’d like to thank Mr. Caldwell and Mr. Lawson for allowing me to be in the marching band in 8th grade, it really opened up my eyes to music and how much I really enjoy it. I’d also like to thank the senior class for sticking with me for the entirety of my marching band career.
