arrogate Railway travelled to Rainworth Miners Welfare, near Mansfield for a 7:45pm kick off in the NCEL Premier League looking to continue on with their recent good form. There were various changes to the squad, with the likes of Mike Morris unavailable and Chris Fisher stepping into the starting eleven. A positive start by Railway was disrupted in around the 15th minute as a serious injury to one of this season’s most impressive players, Ryan Sharrocks, meant that he had to go off and Albert Ibrihimi came on in his place. Both teams were keen to get the ball down and play it around, but neither were creating many clear openings to score. The game was to change towards the end of the first half as Chris Ovington let a ball run across him in midfield.
