Welcome elcome to our 6th annual Uppin’ the ante sale held again at Gold Bar livestock sale Facility near Guelph, ontario. the group has gone through some changes since last year and we will miss andemar’s consignments, as they sold their herd last fall. We have again invited some guest consigners to participate in this year’s event.the beginning of June saw chester, colin and i go through all the consigners’ cattle and select from the top of each herd. What a great set of cattle for this year’s sale. charolais bull sales were “White Hot”this spring and charcross stockers have demanded premiums at sales all across canada. What an excellent time to add some great females to your herd.

A Western Spur female that was shown very successfully as a bred heifer. Since then, she has given us nothing but heifer calves – and good ones at that! This female has definitely been a pillar of production for us and is youthful enough to keep that track record up for her new owner. In the interest of full disclosure, please note that 5T is dry in her front right quarter. She has been this way since she was a two year old. We strongly feel that this has not hindered her production one bit.

All that and a great temperament make her an excellent addition to any herd. She was 2nd place Ontario Show Heifer as a calf, and her full sister was Heifer Calf Champion at the 2010 Royal.
