Welcome to the “Mountain High Horse Dispersal”

It’s been a long dusty trail of about nineteen years of collecting broodmares and developing my own particular version of the “Performance Horse”. I have had too many horses for some time now as well. My mom and other women, on numerous occasions, have tried to reform my ways of having too many horses. At various times in my horse breeding career, as women have tried to reform me, they have all realized that same thing…. They should have started with my grandmother…but with the business economy and the horse market what it is, many of these horses are available for a lot less than they were just a couple of years ago. These are quality horses. I will always have a small band of broodmares, but the focus of T-Bone Ranch has become a registered Hereford operation rather than a Quarter Horse Ranch. Hence we are offering the entire herd for sale, minus a few old nags that I’m personally attached to and are beyond breeding age.

Generally, at the T-Bone, I have tried to strike a balance between top foundation bloodlines and the best of the modern speedhorse. These horses are spirited yet trainable, athletic and horses pretty headed. These horses can be roping horses, arena horse prospects or all around performance horses. I have always tried to match a horses natural ability with his job to do in life, and to match the stallion to the mares that utilizes positive qualities to enhance and improve the quality of offspring. These are hearty horses. In their youth they were ranch raised in large pastures putting on ten or twenty miles a day of walking, running, and playing, over rocks, grassy meadows, through rivers and streams.

These horses have seen elk, deer, and coyotes, and are not easily spooked by such. Those extra

miles on these horses makes for strong joints, endurance and health. These horses were raised

in large groups and have strong social instincts making them very trainable.

The T-Bone Ranch had been known in Colorado for a long time as a place for

quality cattle and horses. I hope one little part of the T-Bone Ranch performance horse will

live on in the hearts of satisfied horse owners for many generations to come as this is

truly a special place for a horse to grow up and become a horse.

Terms and Conditions Terms of the Sale: Cash. All Horses are to be paid Transportation: T-Bone Ranch will be as refor beofore they are released. All other arrangements must be agreed to with owner or manager prior to sale. All transactions are in U.S. dollars.

Rules of Sale:Each animal will be sold to the high-

est bidder. The auctioneer shall settle any disputes and that will be the final authority. Any announcements from the auction block will take precedence over statements in this catalog or any information on the supplement sheets furnished on the sale day. All animals in this sale become the immediate property of the buyer once they are sold. All buyers are expected to recongnize the fact of their ownership and either accepts full responsibility or will insure their animals before leaving the sale. We reserve the right to withdraw any sale lot not meeting our specifications prior to sale time.
