93rd ANNUAL AUSTIN COUNTY FAIR YOUTH AUCTION SALE DEDICATED IN MEMORY OF Mindy Richter Moses, Ed Linseisen Welcome to the 2020 Austin County Fair Youth Auction Sale. Your presence demonstrates your support for the future youth of our county!

BUYERS – Please have billing information ready when your transaction is complete. The Fair Association must have your NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER and the NAME of the bidder. Please clearly state the DESTINATION of your purchase. Also, when your sale slip is brought to you, please SIGN IT. If there are multiple buyers, ALL must sign forms or original signer will be responsible for entire bill. Thank you for your cooperation. Should you purchase an animal you do not want to keep, you may elect to put the animal on resale and deduct the market price (as shown on the sale order) from your total, or you may donate the resale price to an Austin County Fair Fund; such as the Fair Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Harold Luhn Agricultural Memorial Scholarship Fund, Fair Building Fund or any non- profit organization of your choice. At the conclusion of the Youth Auction Sale, broilers, rabbits and turkeys that have been put on resale will be resold. Please be sure you are a registered buyer. Steers, hogs, goats, lambs, horses, pen of heifers and halter heifers put on resale will not go through an actual resale but will be sold to the pre-arranged resale buyer. The awarded market resale prices are:

Swine –$0.37.5/lb Lambs - $1.62/lb Goats - $2.85/lb Colts - $500/head Steers - $1.02/lb Halter Heifer (open) - $1.00/lb Halter Heifer (bred) - 1.00/lb Pen of Heifers (bred) - $1100/head Example:

In the Youth Auction Sale STEERS and SWINE will be sold by the pound; PEN OF HEIFERS sold two times the money; and all other animals sold by the head. Selling weight & resale credit on STEERS will be for the actual weight. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to process POULTRY and RABBITS, which include fees and delivery to the buyer. If your purchase is not delivered within two weeks, please contact the Fair Office at (979) 865-5995. THE AUSTIN COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION will not be able to distribute sale proceeds to the exhibitors until sale invoices are paid. Therefore, all buyers are urged to pay for their purchases as soon as possible. Clerks are on hand to handle payments, should you desire to pay before you leave the Fairgrounds. The AUSTIN COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION acts as sale agents only. Once animal is purchased by the buyer(s), the animal becomes the responsibility of the buyer. This includes pickup/delivery and care of animal.
