Dear Brahman Friends, Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Brahman Select Sale. We are excited to offer this sale in my hometown of Caldwell, Texas. The cattle offering represents some of the best genetics from well-respected and devoted Brahman breeders. They are showcasing their top choices at this sale. You can be sure you’ll find something you’re looking for, whether that is a young show heifer prospect, bred females, flush package, breeding-age bulls, or a semen package.

As you look through this catalog and make your notes, pay close attention to these pedigrees. I couldn’t be more impressed by the genetic packages that will be presented on August 17th. You’ll see breeding from current and popular genetics, and many other world-renowned international and national champion bloodlines. If you are looking to enhance your registered Brahman herd, this is the sale to do exactly that.

If you’ve been on the hunt for breeding-age bulls, I’m glad you are here. We have an excellent select set of registered Brahman bulls that are ready for service. These young bulls are fertility and negative trich tested so you can buy with confidence.

Quality genetics like these are extremely hard to find, but we have made it easy for you. They will all be assembled and ready for your inspection at one location. The cattle will be stalled for viewing beginning Friday, August 16th at the Burleson County Fairgrounds. You can get an early preview by reviewing this sale catalog, or visiting our website to watch the complete videos of each sale lot, taken by our friends at Cattle in Motion.

On sale day, August 17th, the video of the sale lots will be displayed on multiple flat screen televisions inside the BCFA Expo Center. No cattle will be run through a ring. Cattle in Motion will stream the sale live online and take Internet bids at cattleinmotion.com, so be sure to get registered with CIM if you are unable to attend the sale. Sale Terms and Conditions All cattle offered for sale will be sold to the highest bidder. The Auctioneer will settle any disputes with regards to bids and his decision will be final. Corrections or additions to any information in the sale catalog will be announced from the auction block and will take precedence over any printed material. It is the responsibility of the seller to provide the sale management with any corrections prior to the sale.

Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to Broken Triangle Cattle Marketing in full to sale clerk immediately following the sale. Cattle will not be released until payment is made, unless prior arrangements are made with sale management. Each animal will become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold. The owners, employees, auctioneer or other affiliated personnel will not be responsible for any accidents, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of the animals and attendees. Transfer of animal ownership will be the responsibility of BTCM and will be done at the expense of seller only after clearance of all checks. Transfers should be completed within 2 weeks of sale date.

Every animal in the sale will be represented by state approved health certificate for interstate shipping. All cattle sold for export must be paid in full immediately following the sale. Seller will supply all necessary health testing required for export to the buyer’s specific country. The buyer must arrange for the care of the animals until proper health papers can be completed.

Bulls will be fertility tested and will meet the Trich requirements for Texas and out of state shipment. All bred females are considered breeders with no further guarantee. All animals are guaranteed to be breeders with the exception of (a) any female that is placed in an embryo transplant program and subjected to super-ovulation or (b) neglect on part of the buyer. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the seller’s farm if in good condition and accompanied with a health certificate indicating that the animal is free from infectious and contagious disease. This is done at purchaser’s expense. The seller is then entitled to a six month trial following the return of the animal, at which time he will have the opportunity to determine the animals breeding ability. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a sound breeder the seller shall have the option to replace the animal with another of similar quality or to refund the purchase price. If the seller determines the proven breeding ability of the animal it shall be obligation of the purchaser to accept delivery of the animal. All transportation is to be at purchaser’s expense.

There will be NO LOAD OUT DURING SALE. Cattle must be removed from sales facility immediately following sale on Saturday evening unless other arrangements have been made and approved by sale management.
