Dear Brahman Breeders,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest and love of Brahman cattle. I am pleased to present another outstanding group of Brahman cattle for sale from some of the premium breeders in the Brahman industry. These breeders—with a commitment to promote the Brahman industry and help to improve the herds of those who purchase their cattle—have consigned some of their best.

Over the past few years, this sale has been a highlight for the Brahman breed and showcased how popular our cattle are in the United States. Many new breeders have started their herds and now have the same love for the breed as you and me. Some established breeders have added top genetics to their herds and reaped excellent results. This set of consignments, including a few pairs, bred, open, ready to breed, and show prospects, could be our most outstanding yet. Some of these females are top donor quality. In addition, four virgin bulls are being offered. These bulls have been fertility and trich tested.

Cattle will be available for viewing at the Circle T Cattle Company facility. The Thibodeaux family have accommodated the cattle each year and have done an outstanding job. I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to them for their help and hospitality.

Sale Terms and Conditions

All cattle offered for sale will be sold to the highest bidder. The Auctioneer will settle any disputes with regards to bids and his decision will be final. Corrections or additions to any information in the sale catalog will be announced from the auction block and will take precedence over any printed material. It is the responsibility of the seller to provide the sale management with any corrections prior to the sale.

Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to Broken Triangle Cattle in full to sale clerk immediately following the sale. Cattle will not be released until payment is made, unless prior arrangements are made with sale management. Each animal will become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold. The owners, employees, auctioneer or other affiliated personnel will not be responsible for any accidents, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of the animals and attendees. Transfer of animal ownership will be the responsibility of Broken Triangle Cattle and will be done at the expense of seller only after clearance of all checks.

Transfers should be completed within 2 weeks of sale date.

Every animal in the sale will be represented by state approved health certificate for interstate shipping. All cattle sold for export must be paid in full immediately following the sale. Seller will supply all necessary health testing required for export to the buyer’s specific country. The buyer must arrange for the care of the animals until proper health papers can be completed.

Bulls will be fertility tested and will meet the Trich requirements for Louisiana and out of state shipment. All bred females are considered breeders with no further guarantee. All animals are guaranteed to be breeders with the exception of (a) any female that is placed in an embryo transplant program and subjected to super-ovulation or (b) neglect on part of the buyer. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the seller’s farm if in good condition and accompanied with a health certificate indicating that the animal is free from infectious and contagious disease. This is done at purchaser’s expense. The seller is then entitled to a six month trial following the return of the animal, at which time he will have the opportunity to determine the animals breeding ability. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a sound breeder the seller shall have the option to replace the animal with another of similar quality or to refund the purchase price. If the seller determines the proven breeding ability of the animal it shall be obligation of the purchaser to accept delivery of the animal. All transportation is to be at purchaser’s expense.

There will be NO LOAD OUT DURING SALE. Cattle must be removed from sales facility immediately following sale on Saturday evening unless other arrangements have been made and approved by sale management.
