Welcome to our annual bull sale!

Mais quelle belle année fut 2015! Le prix du bœuf a été très bon, notre vente de taureaux fut exceptionnelle et nous avons pris la décision de garder une trentaine de taures de très haute qualité afin d’augmenter notre cheptel et ainsi continuer à vous offrir une qualité de taureaux hors pair d’année en année. Nous souhaitons que le tatouage FGAF soit une source de succès pour nos chers clients que nous ne pourrons jamais assez remercier pour leur soutien et leur confiance en notre programme.

What a good year 2015 was! Firstly the price of beef was very good, our Bull sale was outstanding, and we made the decision to keep about 30 top quality breds to increase our cowherd. We want the FGAF tattoo to be a source of success for our customers and we can’t thank you enough for your support and confidence in our program.

Dispute In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision will be final.

Purchaser Responsibility Each animal becomes the responsibility of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Announcements Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed information in the catalogue.

Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.

Certificate of Registry The proper registration papers will be duly transferred and furnished to the buyer for each animal after settlement has been made.

Breeders Guarantee Bulls: should any bull fourteen months of age or over, fail to prove a breeder after being used on cows known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within 90 days following date of purchase or 90 days after the bull has reached fourteen month of age. The seller will then have the right and privilege of three months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will be suitable for artificial insemination.

Accidents Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither Ferme Gagnon Inc., consignors or auctioneer assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property. The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both.

OPEN FEMALES Bristolview, for a second year, is honored to have been asked to supply some commercial replacement heifers to the Ferme Gagnon annual bull sale. Here at Bristolview Farms we work hard to raise great females to go out and do a good job in any herd. We try our best to buy and raise top quality bulls to improve our 185 head cow herd. The majority of our cows are Simmental x Angus with the majority of bulls being full Fleckvieh and black Simmental along with a few Angus bulls.
