01 RECONSTRUCTION AND RENEWAL OF URBAN COMMUNITY STREET SPACE Period: October 2019-December 2019 Location: West lingjiazhai road,Huangpu district,Shanghai,China Site length: 320m Type: Group work

The scope of this design is the street space of West lingjiazhai road, which is about 320m long and 12m wide from the manufacturing Bureau Road in the West and Tibet South Road in the East. There is a small green space with an area of about 800m2 in the base. The noisy streets in the old urban area of Shanghai are in urgent need of design and transformation to improve the comfort, convenience and richness of the streets, create high-quality urban street space and stimulate regional vitality.

The site is a typical community-based commercial street with a large number of surrounding residents. There is a mixed situation of tidal commuter flow and leisure flow.

The parking of non motor vehicles is chaotic, the public parking space is less, the function of green planting and leisure parking is weak, the accessibility is more high difference, and the overall street identification and sense of belonging need to be improved.

The base is located in Xinzhuang business district, Minhang District, Shanghai. The entrusting party of the project is China Wenyi real estate company. They hope to establish their headquarters in Shanghai, an office building integrating office, leisure, business and landscape, and establish their brand image.

The base is located in Xinzhuang business district, Minhang District, Shanghai. The entrusting party of the project is China Wenyi real estate company. They hope to establish their headquarters in Shanghai, an office building integrating office, leisure, business and landscape, and establish their brand image.

The base is close to the river and the surrounding water system is rich. The transportation around the base is convenient. There is a subway station about 200m away. The surrounding areas are basically commercial buildings and commercial areas, as well as a small number of industrial areas.

GEOMETRY GENERATION

1. VOLUME GENERATION The form of single tower combined with bottom floor business is adopted to highlight the architectural landmark.

2. DIG OUT AN INNER COURTYARD Dig out the shared space in the inner courtyard, providing a sense of security for the internal office staff and visitors of surrounding businesses

3. CUTTING SHAPE Divide the business, open the inner courtyard and increase the accessibility of the site

4. LAYERS OF BARRIERS Evolve the architectural form into the form of layer upon layer.

5. STAGGERED LAYER TRANSFORMATION Abstract the sense of dislocation into the architectural expression, transform it with the modern technique of staggered floor, and obtain a good viewing platform

6. FORM GENERATION Finally, the form of abstract stacking was formed, and shared space, shared courtyard and shared garden on the roof of podium were obtained at the same time.

This small culture and art center is designed for the residents of the old urban area of Shanghai,its functions include exhibition, leiture an the production of Lu'an inkpad.The site is located in the center of Jing'an District of Shanghai.Jing'an

BACKGROUND District is located in a prosperous area with a large population density.Such places are extremely scarce in Shanghai,this building can meet their needs well.Due to its proximity to the Yan'an viaduct,the roof of the building will also perform some traffic functions,connecting the pedestrian passage under the viaduct.

The design plan maximizes the base area, with A part of space is set aside from the base as a buffer zone for crowd gathering and activity. the first floor height of 4.2m.

6.ROOF GENERATION Create a slope roof with local characteristics on the top of the second floor.

3. FORM TWO LAYERS The second floor is set in the north of the base, leaving part of the platform on the second floor for pedestrians to walk.

This design takes ramie art workshop as an example, combined with landscape design related knowledge, through the form of building art workshop, on the basis of inheriting the traditional "stone village" culture of Liuheng village, carries out the art planning and design suitable for the development of Liuheng village, and makes certain exploration and attempt for the change of Liuheng village and the poverty alleviation and Revitalization Strategy of the new generation of rural areas,

SITE ANALYSIS CHINA

MA'ANSHAN,ANHUI

There is a peculiar village in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, China, that is Liuheng village, Xianzong town. Many people here still live in houses built up by layers of stones. Their work and life are inseparable from stones and become "stone tribes" in modern society. The base is located next to the main road of Liufan village, with an area of 1500 ㎡ , which is a flat land.

DESIGN BACKGROUND In the sixth year of Xianfeng in the late Qing Dynasty (1856), some peasants who participated in the uprising of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, in order to avoid the government, had six families come to the north of yaomiaoji, Hanshan County, a large area of wild mountains and mountains, which was a deep mountain depression, just in time to avoid the war, so they settled down. In order to give the village a name, they also made a word, adding a "共" in the middle of the "行", that is, " 衖 ". LiuHeng village also means that six families walk here together.

For more than 100 years, the villagers of Liuhe village have not only built houses with stones, but also built up fields with stones. Filling up the soil here has become a mountainous area, planting economic crops such as ramie and self-sufficient vegetables.They also built channels of stone, made bridges, and led the floods from the mountains to the villages.

Liuheng village has expanded from the original six families to 843, with more than 3540 people. However, many young people gradually left here, chose to work outside, and built buildings under the mountain. Only more than 100 families still live in stone houses in the valley, most of them are over 60 years old. At the same time, Anhui Province has given birth to the tourism craze of Liuheng village, attracting a large number of artists and photographers to visit.

DESIGN ELEMENTS Huizhou architecture is one of the traditional architectural schools in China. As an important part of Han culture, it has always been respected by Chinese and foreign architectural masters. With brick, wood and stone as raw materials, mainly wood frame. With wood beam bearing, brick, stone and earth parapet; with hall as the center, with Diaolianghuadong and decorative roof and cornice, it has a long history..

In the design of this project, the horse head wall and small green tiles that are unique to Anhui style buildings are added, and the local brick and stone mixed buildings are combined with the wood structure to form an exhibition space.
