St Cecilia's and St Kieran's, A Tale of Two Schools

Page 1

Both schools are excellent learning centres, and the students love going to school.

The school leaders thought it would be excellent if the schools could be joined together to make one big family, working together in the Parish of North Harbour.

Students in both schools would have more friends to play with and more teachers to help with learning. What a great idea!

This sounded like such a good thing to do, that school leaders started organising a plan, reimagining what the two separate schools would look like as one big school.

Students and parents from St Cecilia’s would be invited to St Kieran’s to meet their new friends and to see the school.

They would visit the colourful classrooms and beautiful playground area.

They could ask lots of questions about the new school and find out about all the exciting learning opportunities, all the sport and other things like Chess Club, Drama Club and Band.

They could also meet the teachers. Many of the teachers from St Cecilia’s would also be a part of the new reimagined school.

Father Paul and Father Jo Jo, as well as Father Michael would continue to work with all the students, because the school would still be part of the North Harbour Parish.

How lucky we are to be able to learn and to love together as one fabulous school
