Insider Foundation Proudly Brings over $1.5 million in Equipment to Hospital in 2014 The Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board of Trustees is honored to raise funds for Kenmore Mercy Hospital which has resulted in new equipment, programs and projects totaling in over $1,500,000 in 2014.
Grants to Hospital This year, in addition to the new Serenity Room, department Mini Grants were awarded to the following departments for the following items:
• 2 East – orthopedic recliner • 2 South – orthopedic recliner • 3 East – scales for cardiac patients to take home at time of discharge • AthletiCare - recumbent bike and Schwin bike • Care Management – Wheelchair van vouchers for discharged patients • Emergency Department – defibrillator cases (4) • Endoscopy – patient information brochures and artwork for patient/ staff areas • Laboratory – HEMAPREP instrument • Medical Rehabiliation Unit – patient communication boards (13) • Patient Registration – full size refrigerator and patient ID Xpress data collection station • Pharmacy – prescription medication for disadvantaged patients • Transcription – full size refrigerator • Volunteer Services – computer, monitor and software for surgery waiting room
“We would like to thank the 217 associate donors at Kenmore Mercy Hospital who made a commitment to support key projects at Kenmore Mercy Hospital,” stated executive director, Shari McDonough.
Contributions, which were also received from our physicians, the community, former patients, volunteers, Auxiliary members, along with net proceeds from our two signature events, A Tribute to Angels and our Golf & Wine Event, helped make these projects a reality.
McDonough added, “None of this would be possible without the financial support and leadership of the Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board of Trustees.”

Thanks to generous donations from our contributors, the hospital lobby received a much needed facelift in September.
