We are thrilled to present to you our Spring Dance Concert “NOW! That’s What I Call Music”. This theme is a celebration of the music from the 2000’s, the years our amazing CCDT dancers were born! A time when music in American culture shaped a generation of emerging artists, creatives, and DANCERS!

Gratitude abounds when thinking about this year with this incredible team. Whether it was supporting CCHS athletic events, performing for the children of Ronald McDonald House, or taking home a National Grand Championship, these dancers have shown leadership, dedication, perseverance, and love through & through.

On stage tonight you will see the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams alongside the competition team coming together to put on a very impactful & FUN! performance sure to put you in a very celebratory spirit. This team’s work ethic, unity, & commitment are unmatched & leading this dedicated team of incredible young ladies is a special privilege. We have had the best time leading CCDT this past year. We are so grateful for the opportunity to lead a hardworking, and loving group of girls & have treasured every memory we have made. Our favorite part of leading the team was getting to perfect every behind-the-scenes detail in order to put a smile on everyone's faces: planning sleepovers, planning creative awards themes, organizing secret sis, choreographing dances, & so much more. It has been a blessing serving as Captains this past year, and we are so excited to dance together one last time on stage!

We want to thank the team for being the best there is!

Respecting us as Captains & supporting us in all of our stressful weeks and long choreographing nights is more than we could have ever asked for! We love you and will miss you so much! We are honored to have lead the team this year. We also want to thank the coaches for believing in us & giving us guidance to achieve all of our CCDT goals! They never failed to motivate and ignite our passion even at our most tired moments. This team is not the same without our three amazing coaches! My fav thing about CCDT would have to be the atmosphere the girls give in the room. With the girls the energy is always up and no one is ever feeling down. I will definitely miss this feeling because the girls have always brought enlightenment into the room no matter the circumstance. Everyone on the team is so hardworking and that’s what I love because no one ever gives up and always keeps pushing each and every girl.

MYFAVORITEMEMORY:

My favorite memory with CCDT would have to be getting ready for football games with all my teammates and preparing for concert week. In both of these times, we all became very close and formed a strong bond. Everyone always bonds over the dances, helping each other out, if it’s either with makeup and hair or running dances. I will never forget these memories.
