Whether you're a high school student exploring CVCC’s programs, planning to use CVCC as a stepping stone to transfer to a four-year institution, interested in earning while you learn through the Catawba Apprenticeship Network, or returning to school to advance your career—no matter your background, you’ll find your place in Red Hawk Nation.

Tonight, events are happening all across campus, beginning with a general welcome at the Tarlton Complex. From there, you can explore the variety of programs that interest you.

GENERAL EDUCATION (WW COMMONS & RED HALL)

The CVCC School of General Education provides a strong foundation for academic success, preparing students for diverse paths including workforce entry, credential attainment, or university transfer. We foster lifelong learning and personal growth through a broad range of courses in the Humanities and Arts, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences.

ACCESS TO ACHIEVEMENT (WW COMMONS)

Access to Achievement (A2A) creates accessible educational pathways for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across North Carolina, empowering them to achieve independence, develop workforce skills, and fully participate in their communities.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC SERVICE EDUCATION (3RD FLOOR)

From public safety and emergency services to Cosmetology (located in building 5 on the map), Health and Fitness Science, Early Childhood Education, and Human Services, we offer a wide variety of top-notch programs. CVCC's School of Health Education is dedicated to developing the next generation of healthcare leaders through innovative teaching and hands-on learning. Our state-of-the-art simulation center and modern teaching facilities provide students with immersive, real-world clinical experiences, preparing them for success in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION

CVCC is developing the workforce for the future. Come to the state-of-the-art Workforce Solutions Complex to explore programs and experience hands-on demonstrations in skilled trades and advanced technologies.

CATAWBA APPRENTICESHIP NETWORK (WSC LOBBY)

Interested in earning while you learn? Stop by WSC to meet business partners and learn how you can secure employment after completing your education. You can also connect with the Corporate Development Center to discover ways to grow your skills while working.
