ACPDC – ASSOCIACIÓ DE COMPANYIES PROFESSIONALS DE DANSA DE CATALUNYA The ACPDC (Association of Professional Dance Companies of Catalonia) was founded in 2006 to reflect the need to establish bridges of collaboration between the various Catalan dance companies, bringing together their creative and business needs to work for a better ecosystem for dance. The ACPDC works with the aim of fostering the dissemination and promotion of dance in general and the development of activities that may contribute to improving and professionalising the sector, such as training cycles, participation in trade shows and forums, the season’s end festival and the drawing up and monitoring of industry statistics. The ACPDC is made up of 14 Catalan dance companies.

APCC - ASSOCIACIÓ DE PROFESSIONALS DE CIRC DE CATALUNYA The Catalan Association of Circus Professionals (APCC), National Circus Prize 2009, represents all the professional fields of Catalan circus (artists, technicians, businessmen, managers, directors, playwrights, scenic artists, choreographers, reviewers, historians, teachers, etc.). Nowadays it counts with 266 members from around 130 circus companies and artists. The APCC main goal is the diffusion and normalization of the circus in all its expressions, as a cultural fact at the same level as other scenic arts. To achieve it, the APCC works closely to administrations, as well as fomenting the exhibition, training, creation and production networks, communication, historic heritage and legal fields. The APCC manages La Central del Circ - Barcelona’s Circus Creation Factory. Located in Barcelona’s Forum Park, La Central del Circ is a 3,000m² facility dedicated to guiding circus professionals in all areas and stages of their work, from everyday training to the use of spaces and materials, as well as advice on the creation and production of circus shows.

CIATRE - ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL THEATRE COMPANIES FROM CATALONIA CIATRE is composed by 24 performing arts companies (theatre, dance and new tendencies) which have as the main characteristic high quality and independent productions inside and outside of Catalonia. The majority of these companies are internationally acclaimed, with shows that have been performed in many countries and productions that are successful with both critics and culturally diverse audiences. In this catalogue CIATRE presents productions touring in 2012 and 2013. Shows vary from text-based theatre to musicals, including puppet theatre, dance, large-scale performances, street theatre and new formats for non-conventional spaces. TTP- ASSOCIACIÓ PROFESSIONAL DE TEATRE PER A TOTS ELS PÚBLICS The TTP (Professional Association of Theatre for all Audiences) is the coordination and working instrument founded by actors, musicians, magicians, dancers, clowns and puppeteers in order to dignify the sector of children’s theatre in Catalonia. The TTP conviction is that its audience deserves the best. The TTP was born as the union of the main companies devoted to children’s and youth’s theatre in Catalonia, and its aim is to watch over the quality of the shows and the conditions in which they’re played. FIRATÀRREGA FiraTàrrega is the most important performing arts fair in southern Europe. It is a great fair for the different scenic arts disciplines and covers a wide range of shows both in closed venues and in the streets. There is an extensive, plural and carefully chosen programme of productions, which places its emphasis on outdoor arts and visual forms to guarantee innovation and artistic diffusion.
FIRATÀRREGA
The Market Development department is the agency of ICEC (Catalan Institute for the Cultural Companies) charged with fostering the development of the Catalan companies and productions and its promotion abroad. Among its tasks, the support to the international dissemination of Catalan theatre stands out as an essential policy, as the Lunch Meeting at FiraTàrrega and this booklet reflect.
