CastoBlast - Breath Freely While Grit Blasting Grit blasting is an effective way of removing rust, old paint, welding scale and metal impurities. In many cases blasting can replace the need for mechanical or chemical grinding or cleaning. CastoBlast provides a clean surface and good surface profile for various surface treatments including thermal spraying.

Blasting materials often need to be replaced with each use. The CastoBlast recycles blasting material for repeated use, saving on material costs and housekeeping. The CastoBlast separates the dust from the blasting material and captures fine particulates in the filter before fresh air is re-circulated.

Aluminum Oxide is a sharp, long-lasting abrasive cutting media that can be re-used many times for grit blasting.

As an abrasive blasting media, it is harder than most common dry abrasive blast media and will cut even the hardest metals and surfaces. This particular abrasive blasting media comes in a wide range of sizes.

Grit Size: 18-60 Mesh

Aluminium Silicate is an iron-free, aggressive blasting material that replaces silica sand. This is used within many areas for cleaning before surface treatment. To be used on steel, glass and ceramics. Suitable for car body work.

Grit Size: 40-70 Mesh

Glass Beads is a blasting material made of soda glass and is characterized by high resistance against high impact. Glass beads remove paint, scale and rust without really cutting in to the material itself. Suitable for blasting of glass, aluminium and stainless steel.
