THE BMW THAT NEVER WAS SCHUCO BMW M8
The early 90s was a time of overthe-top cars and major carmakers were putting out some bonker machines on the tarmac, and BMW was no exception. Their 8-series models was insane out of the factory floor. Within this madness was born the idea for the 550hp V12 M8 to take on the mighty Ferraris.
Built first as prototype, the car featured some out futuristic bits and pieces that was put it into the realm of supercars. But with the advent of the 90s economic crisis, and the market dwindling, the idea was shelved and the M8 for awhile, became almost vaporeware. But one was built and it was consigned to the BMW Giftschrank (poison storage) to be unseen by human eyes forever.
