SCHNELL! OTTO MOBILE MERCEDES BENZ 560SEL AMG

The W126, which was in production from 1979 to 1991 in various form has been one of Mercedes Benz's most successful platform lines. And the S-Class (Sonderklasse, GER "Special Class") which sits at the top of food chain has set benchmarks the other brands continue to emulate to this very day.

The 560 SEL featured an impressive 6.0L V8 which in some models churned out 300bhp (not the most impressive by todays standards, but at that time could hurle this behemoth to about 250kmph in about 7secs.

Now you are sitting there thinking that's nothing. Imagine a car that is almost 16ft in length, 6ft in width, weighing almost two tons running your Toyota down. It was also quite fuel efficient, and did about 17mpg (US). So it could chase you for awhile.

This was a favourite car among the glitteratti, oligarchs and people with a penchant for getting somewhere fast and not being followed.

Then the boys and girls at AMG was given this already impressive vehicle to take it to the next level. They did.

How do you do that. By enhancing the engine, adding some unbelievable two-piece wheels that shreds tarmac and aero kits to make this cut through atmosphere like a hot knife through melted butter.

Oh yes, and black it out so that it looks like the only car in the galaxy that Darth Vader will be driven around in. And yes, he can fit his 7ft frame quite comfortably in the back.

Otto Mobile has recreated this spiffy model in all it's dark lord glory in Obsidian Black Metallic. Its hefty, and that glossy black paint is just wow.

Also, the wheels roll. Yes, some of you want so much authenticity in your 1:18 models and wheels rolling is a bit part of it. But alas, opening parts to this bad boy, which is a good thing. The interior will remain spick and span for eons. That's if any of you take it out after the initial look see and then put it away securely and I am sure many of you will do it.

They limited the production run to 2000 units and is available for around $150 in resellers around the world.

"ER FÄHRT EIN SCHNELLES AUTO!" - MANY A DRIVER ON THE AUTOBAHN

Who wouldn't like to take thie bad boy home and not care if Santa makes a stop or not... You would already have this in your stocking.
