JUNGLE CRUISER SCHUCO LAND CRUISER 88

JUNGLE CRUISER

A lovely little trinket that would fit on the desk of any adventure organiser, keen outdoors man who likes to challenge himself in every way possible or just a simple Land rover fan who inherited his grandfather’s rust trap Land Rover Defender.

As always Schuco does a fantastic job of detailing small scales successfully and this is no exception especially with the whole 1950’s safari paint job that makes the vehicle look exotic. It doesn’t serve a camouflage purpose because it was such a noisy engine, even a lame zebra had enough time to get away.

This Christmas get out the kid’s plastic safari animals throw in the zebra finished defender and you’ve got yourself a miniature

safari going considering how zoo’s may soon be things of the past. Or you could build yourself an exotic jungle terrarium and park this in there as a live-in diorama. Also great for dinosaur hunts.

Schuco has two Defenders in this scale to choose from the other one with the rear cover and painted in that classic Olive green. Not as razzle dazzle as the zebra paint though. This looks far more like the party mobile.
