DELICIOUS GLUTEN-FREE RECIPE USING BROWN RICE FLOUR

Over the last few years, living a gluten-free lifestyle has become much easier with more delicious alternatives to traditional ingredients being widely available such as glutenfree organic sprouted brown rice flour. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoy a sweet start to your day, then here a delicious gluten-free recipe that you will love!

GLUTEN-FREE PANCAKES What you’ll need: Sea salt x ½ a teaspoon Soy milk x ½ a cup Baking soda x ½ a teaspoon Coconut sugar (or brown sugar) x 2 teaspoons Unsalted butter x ½ a tablespoon Organic coconut oil (melted) x 1 tablespoon Eggs x 3 Organic sprouted brown rice flour x 1 cup

How to make it: Add the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk them until they are well combined. Add in and whisk together the coconut oil and soy milk. Add in the baking soda, sea salt, flour and coconut sugar. Give it a good stir to ensure the mixture doesn’t have any lumps. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit for an hour at room temperature. Place a large pan over medium heat and add in the butter. Once it has melted, add the batter into the pan in ⅛ cup portions. Cook 1 to 2 minutes each side. When you notice the tops bubbling, flip each one over. Serve with your favourite toppings such as organic maple syrup, fruit or ice cream.
