Pee Wee Hockey

Lil’ Dribblers

The Lil’ Dribblers basketball program introduces children to the game of basketball in a safe, fun and exciting environment. Our curriculum uses age appropriate activities and games specifically designed to increase balance, body awareness, motor skills, hand eye coordination, listening skills and the ability to follow directions. The Lil’ Dribblers program includes exclusively designed equipment tailored to enhance the basketball experience for each participant. The program challenges children to develop new cognitive, physical and social skills. In addition, each child will experience social interaction with children and adults in a fun environment. Coaches Needed

Do you have a passion for sports, experience coaching, and enjoy working with children? If yes, we want you! The Cary Park District is hiring experienced coaches for the My-Tee-Ball, T-Ball, Little Kickers Soccer, and Mighty Kickers programs. Are you interested in coaching your child’s team? Whether you want to be the lead coach or assist another coach, we want you! Hone your soccer skills in the off season with this weekly skills clinic conducted by OM Soccer Skills. Teammate Requests

Cary Park District staff will be creating individual teams prior to the first day of My-Tee-Ball, T-Ball, and Mighty Kickers. If you would like your child to be on the same team as a friend you may submit a Teammate Request Form found at carypark.com, at the Community Center, or during online registration. Teammate requests will be honored if received one week prior to the first practice.

Ages 5 - 8 years EB

Start playing the nation’s most loved game! Players are introduced to stance, receiving, rushing, blocking, and defense. Each week ends with a scrimmage encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. Players get to play either receive or running back each week. Games focus on fundamentals, field concepts, positions, and mechanics. No equipment necessary. Game Time Flag Football

Ages 9 - 12 years EB

Players experience daily scrimmages with active instruction and tips from the coaching staff. Players are encouraged to employ skills used in football such as running pass routes, play calling, defensive positioning, fundamentals of blocking, and pass coverage. Spring/Summer Softball League

Adults CF

Get your team together and compete in a recreational softball league. Depending on the number of teams, games are played at Lions Park with game times at 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm. Each team will play each other twice. The number of teams registered in a particular league determines league formats. Post season playoffs are planned for the league.

Information packets are available at the Community Center. A manager’s meeting will be scheduled on the first night of the league at the fields beginning at 6:30 pm.

Teams must be able to make all time slots available for play; there are no requests for specific game times. This league is sanctioned by the National Softball Association (NSA). For additional information, contact Courtney Fejedelem, Program Manager at 847-639-6100 x 118. 60% of the roster must reside within the Cary Park District boundaries to receive the resident rate.
