You’ve Been ELFED!

Elf your friends, neighbors or your own family with a surprise home candy cane hunt! Santa’s elves will hide two dozen candy canes and a few extra mini candy canes in the front yard and leave a “You’ve Been Elfed” sign on the front door. Elfing will take place December 14 - 16 between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Brighten the town and spread holiday cheer by competing in our Holiday Lights Decorating Contest! Use your imagination and create your best outdoor holiday scene in your front yard. Park District staff will serve as the judges and pick the top 3 winners to receive a prize. l The contest is open to Cary Park District residents only. l Decorations must be visible from the street. l Please refrain from hiring decorators. l Judging will take place December 21 between 5 - 7 pm. l 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be contacted December 22 by phone and posted on the Park District’s Facebook page. l By registering for this contest, participants agree to have their house and light display used for social media purposes. All participating houses will be showcased on our website and the Park District Facebook page at the end of the contest.

Hop on over and have breakfast with the Bunny! Children will enjoy seasonal activities including coloring eggs to take home. After breakfast the guest of honor will make an appearance. Don’t forget your camera to capture the moment with your family. Space is limited - register early. Every family member attending must register. Children under 1 year are free. High chairs and booster seats are not available for this event, but you may bring your own. Location: Community Center Min/Max: 20/40

Flash Light Easter Candy Hunt

Saturday, April 1 7:00 - 8:30 pm Lions Park Softball Fields R/NR Fee: $15/$20 Code: 14247

The Lions Park softball fields will be filled with your favorite Easter sweets! Keep your eye out for candy with numbers to claim your prize. The Easter Bunny will be there to take pictures with you! Don’t forget to bring a bag or basket to carry all your goodies home! Deadline to register is March 15.

Dog Egg Hunt

Thursday, April 6 6:30 pm - Small dog egg hunt 7:00 pm - Medium and large dog egg hunt Dog Park - Hoffman Park $5/per dog

Leash up your pup and hop on over to the Dog Park for an egg hunt that is just for dogs! Owners must stay with their dog at all times. Please bring a basket or bag for collecting eggs. Each dog may collect up to 10 treat filled eggs and have their picture taken with the bunny. Please arrive early as the egg hunt will promptly start on time. Dogs do not need to be dog park members to participate.
