Camp ECHO

Exploring Cary’s Hidden Outdoors

Camp ECHO: Grades K - 5

ECHO Extreme: Grades 6 - 8

This camp is jam-packed with a variety of non-stop activities that will keep your child going for the entire day. The majority of the day is located outside where children play, exercise, gain independence, learn life skills, make friends and have a memorable summer. In addition to arts, crafts, sports, and games, campers explore the outdoors through fishing, hiking, scavenger hunts, and more. There will also be swim days and field trips weekly. A field trip list is available at carypark.com.

Camp counselors are mature and enthusiastic high school students, college students, and adults who provide a noncompetitive environment for children to relax, have fun, and be kids. Most of our counselors have been with the Park District and the camp program for a number of years.

The youngest age for Camp ECHO is 5 years old and the camper must be entering kindergarten in the fall. If your child is younger than 5 years old, or is 5 years old and not entering kindergarten, please consider Sunshine Camp. Information can be found on page 21.
